Got it working.

Hm, I would really like some citation on that though.

The Church does not deliberately perpetrate fraud. When people find something that looks miraculous to them, the Church examines it and if it doesn't appear to be an obvious hoax, or if there is no explanation, then we are allowed as the faithful to enjoy these for our own edification. Whether the bodies of those canonized persons are corrupt or not, their relics are still important to us.

Mother Church? Hardcore Catholic, huh? No issue with it. I don't care one way or another, to be brutally honest about it. I have issues since the church (and noted in the link I provided) had witnesses that were physicians that attested to the decay.
They also know, however, most devout will accept what they present blindly.

Note Bernadette (I won't call her a Saint because man does not have the right to appoint anyone to sainthood.)One inspection in a century? And it contradicts information presented in the previous post of mine with the link.

More than one of these bodies have been damaged by persons attempting to wash them after disinternment. I am not sure what that means, nor do I really understand the incorrupt as it is not at all central to the teaching of the Church nor are we in anyway required to believe in these nor in any other private visions, even those which have been accepted as orthdox by the Church.

I bolded the portion where you tipped your hand as to your view of the Catholic Church. A "man" did not appoint someone a saint. The Church canonized those persons who after a series of investigation have been determined to be in Heaven with God.

The Church has the right to do this because Jesus gave the keys of the kingdom to his Peter upon the foundation of the Church.

You are not required to share my beliefs, but your expressions of disdain, skepticism and general disrespect reveal you to be somewhat lacking in information about Catholic teachings as well as Sacred Scripture.

Care to go some?
The bolded is some of the worst hubrius I have ever seen.

You belong.
The purpose of disinternment is to obtain relics of the saints. Bones are divided up and placed in reliquaries or buried inside churches under the altar. When the body is found to be whole and in good order, it is placed inside a glass coffin, just like SnowWhite so that people may come to view and venerate the saint during pilgrimages.

This practice has its origins in the scriptures.

Your statement is not an argument and I hardly know what you mean.

Oh no. We are NOT going there. What does the Bible say about Idolatry?

@ Heartfout: If the Church was founded by Jesus, then the teaching authority of the Church does have the right to say who is and is not in heaven. That is clearly stated in the Bible.

If you don't believe it, then so what? blaugh Heartfout, do you believe in God and in Heaven?

The Children of Israel were told not to make graven images of the gods of Egypt nor to worship those false gods.

What scriptures give this authority to the Church to speak for Jesus and God? What is God's name?

The Gospel of Matthew. Why do you inquire the name of God?

You're avoiding the answer and know that you are. What does the Bible say about idolatry is the question.
Because you did NOT give the full answer. Here's a hint. Ten commandments.

The Gospel of John. Why do you inquire the name of God?

Because in the original transcripts, His name is mentioned of 6,800 times. So, you should know this quite easily. As well as explain why so many pagan holidays are celebrated.

hardly. I smoke, drink and am quite adept at cussing a fool out. I also don't believe in Dogma, which is a driving force in the Catholic Church. I've been all over Italy and Jerusalem, as well as multiple other sites throughout the world.
But you still dance around the issue and questions. If you cannot question your own beliefs and be sure it correlates to the true words in the Bible, then what are you doing?
Have you ever read the Bible, or do you merely take what you are told from your Priest as gospel, never ensuring on your own that you and your children are following the true path to God?
Would you let someone direct your driving while you are blindfolded and driving down the interstate and they are safe at home watching on a camera? Because if you aren't willing to protect yourself and your children by reading the Bible on your own and doing your own research, when the end comes, what will you tell your kids if you were lied to and simply swallowed tripe?
I don't swallow what I am told. I want to know for myself.

Thanks to the awesome Cory Shallow for a cool sigpic!!
There are a number of different little churches that have a particular dislike of Catholics but none is more virulent than the Jehovah's Witnesses. The thing is they can never find out what it is the Catholci Church does believe because they are so busy filling up their heads with lies about what the Church teaches. And when you attempt to explain it they call you a "denier" and walk away from you.

The JW's make the Church of Satan seem civil toward Catholics. It is a religious based on lies, discipetion the Watchtower fail and pure heated bigotry against Catholics. All holy days are "pagan" and to them "pagan" is a bad thing. They also deny Christ (aka St. Michael the Archangel) was crucified on a cross for the simpleminded reason that the scriptures stated he carried his beam to calvary. Thus for JW Jesus was nailed to a pole.
