Welcome to Gaia! ::

Any of you ever heard of this phenomenon?
Throughout the centuries, bodies have been found to have no corruption, or signs of decay. These bodies were usually those of saints, where no scientific explanation can be found for the reasoning in the perfect preservation of bodies that have been dead for decades. The below link gives a bit more meat to the subject with some images of Incorrupt Bodies.

St. Bernadette. Died in 1879. Her incorrupt body is currently displayed in a French cathedral.
I find myself sceptic about clicking that link...

Astral projection? Maybe the soul got lost, but the mind continued to process thoughts..

It is safe.

What I would like you to post is some excerpts on the possible explanation, and perhaps one picture, please. That would further the discussion quite a bit.

Elaborate more, please. What you said has no correlation to the subject.

Yeah, you say that now, and then you laugh as I have to gouge my eyes out with a chopstick. If you don't mind me saying so you'd get more and better responses if you extended your OP and explained what you were on about rather than just telling us to click a link.

Catholics believe in preserving the relics of the saints. Normally these are found after being later disinterned. Some of my favorite saints were not bodily incorrupt. My father believed that there might have been a secret method of preserving the bodies which has eluded science.

What is it that you don't understand? I'll be able to go more in depth once you tell me what you need to know.

Well I do have an idea on what you're saying, I just wanted a bit more detail.

I thought they discovered that the priests were going in and giving the bodies "upkeep" to keep them preserved.
Would an air-tight coffin do the trick? Or maybe that's not even a real body, but a was figure.

Could you source that?

Most of these cases are from buried, in-coffin bodies that were exhumed over vast expanses of years.

It appears that the bodies have been put into glass-cases in order to avoid de-coloration from today's pollution. Some of the bodies were found in the most corruptible-prone environments were their clothing would rot away but they're bodies would be in good condition.

I think its easy for one to say that it isn't a real body, but a figure.
There have been tests of the bodies tissue sample that have been found to contain no preservatives.
Although, you never know if it was a bribed conspiracy from the Catholic Church to keep those examiners hush-hush?
Hmm.
