Do you have data showing this, I've already provided a link that states otherwise, crimes actually worsened after public executions. And how fast things change is reliant on us, we can change it however fast we want it.

But im not saying that it works for all places. Certain places have different effects.
I know if someone really wants to murder a person they will do it.

Good find, but when they go to jail, rehab, etc and the killers start killing each other, we're really just going to keep letting them stay there? Killing one person is crossing the line. Killing more inmates only further proves the point that they need to be tied up and thrown in the ocean.

Literally the number one, and indeed only way, to reduce crime in prisons is to educate said prisoners. Killing them is a bandaid.

Some inmates really are beyond help. Only thing you can do is incapacitate them.

Only thing to reduce crime is to find out why EACH individual commits the crimes they do, and then offer alternatives which show them that crime is the worse choice in every way, even if it has higher return.

This doesn't work for all people, particularly homicidal sociopaths.

For those in favor of the death penalty are on the rational grounds that it brings justice to the victims’ family, and the respect of human life is laid out. The cost of killing versus maintenance is cost-effective, ensuring public safety, and a sure-fire deterrence.

Don't you love how you disregard the actual facts, I really do. First of all what do you base your "rational ground" on? The victim's families will feel better? Good thing our justice system isn't about making the victims families feel better, you would have people executed based on the fact that they got robbed, molested, or even assaulted. The respect of human life is laid out by killing another human life? How does this make any sense to you? You apparently haven't looked around because it costs more to execute somebody than to keep them in prison forever. You also ignore the statistics given that show after public executions murder rates also went up and that murder rates went down currently in NJ after the Death Penalty was abolished. In conclusion FAILZ!

Emo just means emotional. So, you're saying that when someone is being emotional they should die? Interesting take on things. I think you should receive the death penalty for being so full of venom.

Death Penalty is a necessity, it's better to make an example of one and deter many from doing the same. I think without the death penalty, we'd be in a chaotic country. If we made the Penalty more extreme I think we'd be in a very civil country with even less chaos. However my ways of thinking usually stray towards Machiavellian ideology which many view as Totalitarianism

If you're talking about the US legal system then don't go for the cost angle. I watched a debate recently about this topic and (apparently) the cost of appeals and the legal proceedings that go on with a death penalty put its overall cost above life imprisonment.

Of course, I could be wrong. Could somebody clarify if this is really the case?

Yes, that is true. Takes a whole lot of time too - perhaps around weeks to months before the case is heard. And then there's the whole possibility of a second appeal.
