The stupid. It's stifling. Thanks to DJ for raising the IQ in this thread. Also, what is with all of these retards calim Christians say the Rapture is going to happen then? Not a single one of my pastors at college or at home has said anything about it, and I'm pretty sure it's written in our good book, that man with neither no the day not the hour of Jesus' arrival on Earth again. So if any Christians told you it's the Rapture, they need to read their book again.

Actually to be completely honest the Mayans believed that this destruction of the world would be by earthquake. This was in an educational videa I saw about a year ago. I don't tend to think about it, using the above as a reason. Not to mention there are two different dates for the end of the world, I've also heard the 21st of December too. I don't know who's right or if anyone is right but even with all that's happening, none of it feels like the world ending. I think breathing and living your life is the best answer to this, if you can get yourself to do it!

I heard it was two dates too, but because I'm wiccan, alot of my wiccan brothers and sisters believe that the second date is the 12, because thats when the last portal will open(12/12/12) after that there will be no more....so thats what scares me, my religion beieves that on the day the portal opens, there will be a new beginning, and that nothing will happen...

Hmmm, I haven't heard that, strangely enough seeing as I've had plenty of recent conversations with a few wiccan friends. It probably is that we've never broughten up 2012. I'm a Celtic Pagan so I've never heard it looking around myself. But who knows what's going on, if the what your faith says is really as scary as it sounds or if we even understand what the Mayans may or may not have said (I see that we may this wrong...)

And I am SERIOUSLY confused as to why so many people say it will. Hell, Mayan decedents STILL EXIST (ame religion and everything) and they say the world WILL NOT END.

Oh on the contrary, the "ONE PERSON" who predicted this in 2012 said the world "WILL END" were his words...there are many videos and studies that show that he predicted that the world will crumble from an earthquake, and that the heavens will rain fire...so I don't know where you are getting your facts.

and two no I do not believe the world will end in 2012 and if it does? so what your not doing anything that can wipe the most advanced species off a planet anytime soon. so I just dont worry because its pointless

also the word Rapture does not appear in the Bible once nor does any mention of how today represents it It does say jesus will come down and forgive his followers but thats not simply fly up or staircases it says jesus will forgive and does not specify exept that the forgiven will go to heaven

Whoa Whoa...first off...i never said the rapture was happening then...I just said that if the world was supposedly ending in 2012...then "HOW COULD WE" have the rapture when there would no world to have tribulation on....so read carefully before you make false accusations....and if you think this post is so stupid then please be my guest and leave...no one twisted your arm to read this...honestly, its for people who care to discuss...you just wasted your time reading this thread and complaining about it for no reason...so get a life!

As for the world ending, it is possible but there's no definate guarantee you can make.
