Ugh, this is complete nonsense.

The world already ended on 6/6/6. There is effectively no longer any reality; only the brief flash of what your potential life would have been like, passing before your eyes at the last split-second of Earths existence.

What of the children born after that? Are they not real?

All a figment of your imagination. And so is this message Im posting. And so am I.

Seems legit.
I don't think theres going to be a great fantastic end on a specefic date. Forgive my spelling for the following, as i know i suck at english.

Most of what im hearing is the end of the world as we know it, which could mean alot of different things. perhaps a new discovery that changes how we see things such as the arrival of god/ the gods/ some great advancement. I have a friend who thinks this could be the finding of other life aside from our own in the universe. I dont believe in the end of the world, because to be quite honest theres no such thing as the end. Just a different beginning. Even if the world were to physically split apart, there would still be the remnants of it floating in space that could theoratically make another world in several thousands/millions of years. We wouldn't exist, but the world would still be here in a sence.

I do think something is gonna happen, but im leaning more towards civil unrest. War, hunger, disease, the falling of nations, and just in general a collapse of nations. Atleast the US due to the pathetic state of the country and all the confliction of ideas and beliefs.

Though im leaning towards that happening in the future over a period of time, not just all at once.

The world as we know it will come to an end.

Yes, afterward we will know the world as a much more skeptical place.

...

Yes, I believe every word of it.

You're only semi-famous because you keep making threads about doomsday. emotion_facepalm
Enough already!

Hehe, looks like you are my first "hater", but still I don't know how to get famous otherwise, but I do wish to hear what an online community thinks and feels before such a date, this like the Gaia Hot Topics Archives are a time capsule into past thoughts in the future, if there is one.

Never heard of it.

I said "Semi" not "the Famous", meaning I am not really famous but in a way I am.

You should come around Morality & Religion more often. emotion_awesome

That person made a countdown thread about Mr. Camping's prediction on the rapture or Second Coming.

Indeed, hence the link in 1st post. It was Camping's October 21st End of World, not May 21st Rapture.

Why would that be notable?

It's not, really. But I remember the guy. His thread kept popping up almost every day.

Because he kept BUMPING it every day, especially when it was getting closer and closer to October 21st. emotion_facepalm

What is the point of counting down the days to a supposed doomsday? If it happens, it ******** happens, and there's nothing to be done. If it doesn't, oh well.

The point is for the fun of waiting, and I actually wasn't bumping that much really, people kept repling very well as I replied to them.

"The fun of waiting" lol You do that.
And you did bump it rather often, you kept reviving it when people would stop replying to it. Every day or so, "Reviving this for x amount of days left." rolleyes

You've heard of you and maybe a few other people. It hardly approximates fame.

I waited 114 days to see if the world was going to end, and it didn't.
