I don't know what sort fo feather it was. It was a bit bigger than my middle finger and a dark brown. It was near a lake so maybe some sort of gull or something. I don't know much about birds.

No she didin't mention why, she just told me to. I did find a place of refuge from my idoit uncle though,so I guess it's worth it.

How exactly do I go back and meditate again?

I wouldn't be taking any advice from Asevenex as he has reported problems of all sosrts. Instead of doing some unusual meditation from some stranger critter on GAIA how about try praying? How about seeking a trained cleric for help on this? The Catholic CHurch has 2,000 + years experience with the supernatural.

I see deities everyday. Mind you, I am a monk and live in a temple (deities are what we call the images of God, that we have asked God to reside in, we have here). Jagganatha (the black one, though Baladeva and Subhadra, the white and yellow, where there to)has come to me in dreams a few times. Yesterday, I swear I heard Radha (the female) laugh...

I had my eyes clothes and did breathing exorsises. I also was on no drugs

Are you sure that you didn't fall into such a meditative state that part of your mind fell asleep and you may have dreamed or conjured these images through a desire to see them? After all, the mind can play funny tricks. I've heard of such happening before.

Not saying it's impossible, but I always like to approach other possibilities before jumping straight into saying it's paranormal.

If you think this may be a possible reason, you could probably talk to a sleep analyst to find out for sure. Such as allow them to monitor you while you go into your meditation to see if you stay fully aware or if a change in the brain during that time is causing it. That could tell you if it's a truly paranormal experience.
