First off I will applaud you sir. This has been a standing debate between my brother and I for quite some time.

I am not here to disagree what so ever. I agree that long range anything is cowardace. But as for the two items in the subject I will say that swords in general are not for cowards. Anyone that feels they have to use a sword in this day and age to solve their differences is just way behind their time. And I can say this as I see both ends of the spectrum. I have taken the time to learn the art of sword play as well as standard and advanced use of firearms.

far into the past I understand that swords is pretty much the only form of personal weapon they had. And now centuries later we now have guns.

People now just learn and weild swords merely to keep their history and art alive. Even despite the fact that they are no longer used.

back then yes a sword would have been my choice of weapon. But now my preference is a sidearm.

No offence to swordmen ninja of today but if you run at me with a sword then I will not hesitate to turn your head into a canoe and camel toe whats left rofl .

Second thing.
I've fired guns before. I'm a good shooter. You don't need craploads of training to wield a gun. It's easy, point, aim, check aim, fire. If you're up against a moving target, move your gun.

How did "kills" or "marks" or "hits" become "g's"?

when i say "left 40 is a g" which means left 40(the guy at said bunker) is gone so i guess that's where "g" comes from

I lived in Dallas for the first decade of my life. Now I'm in california, where bumper stuickers are a very vivid blue... potato, i just wanted to state a coward is someone who is afraid of confrontation. Just because you fight with a sword doesn't mean your afraid to fight. Also, i beleive there is no honor in any type of ambush/sneak attack/silent asassination because the person you are killing gets no chance to defend themself, regardless of gun or sword. I beleive that a fair swordfight face to face is more honorable than a gunfight because you don't just pull the trigger and bam one of you is dead. I am not bashing guns because i know that it takes a great deal of skill to weild one correctly but also recognize the fact that it is the same with a sword.(not knives or daggers, only swords) Anyone can pull a trigger and shoot or wave a sharp metal stick around. But to be a true gunfighter or a swordsman takes years of dedication and hard work to be better than that person who just pulled the trigger or flailed around violently with no technique. So i beleive in terms of honor the sword wins but in terms of skill they are equal. Also, there is no honor in the enjoyment of taking others lives, there is only honor in defending what you think is right.

So if I, with a gun, shoot someone who is attempting to knife my friends or loved ones, I'm still honorable, correct?
