I'm still a young girl.
I am a straight A student.
I plan on going to college and becoming a psychiatrist.
I am very active in many clubs in my school.
I volunteer at various places whenever I have the time.
I am very close to my family, and I have never had problems with the law.
I do not drink, or smoke.

But very recently I engaged in sexual affairs with my boyfriend.
I am not married to him obviously - and we are both underaged.

I personally don't believe that participating in sexual acts with him makes me a bad person. Though I am still a "virgin", what is your take on this? Do you think that just because a person has been sexually active though they are not married and are young, that it makes them a bad person?

Why would that make you a bad person? I mean seriously. As long as you are practicing those sorts of activities safely, which you seem perfectly capable of doing, then there shouldn't be a problem. It's a natural drive in all animals, including human beings. All these religious institutions are turning beautiful, natural things into a perversion of what it really is. You seem like a fairly intelligent person to me (other than the odd feeling that sexual activity somehow makes you a bad person). So just be safe and don't worry about it. You'll do lots of people all kinds of good as a psychiatrist.

Sexual acts aren't something that makes someone a bad person by them self. Its the way you happen to do them. Say cheating on someone. Or currently are and doing sexual acts with both people within 24 hours. As long as you care about him and are not cheating you to my opinion are not a bad person.

No, you're not a bad person but what you did isn't entirely excusable if you're a Christian. Now, other people will tell you "It's perfectly fine to have sex whenever you want with whoever you want as long as it's monogamous", and if you agree with that than good for you, just do whatever you think is right.

Now, I DO think you're a little young to be having sex, that doesn't mean your irresponsible just inexperienced. You have your whole life ahead of you and you need to focus right now on who you are, what you enjoy doing and how you can use that to provide for yourself and any family God sees fit to grace you with. But you're not a bad person just because you had sex. Was what you did a sin in the eyes of God? Yes but God doesn't send kids to hell for being young and in love.

i dont think your a bad person, as long as you dont be stupid or take it for granted. you should treat it as something that can go really bad really fast. if you do someting stupid then your not evil you just very very very stupid.

I'm going to go out on a limb here, and make a point I have not yet seen.

There are no such thing as bad people. Just people who make misguided decisions.
Could just have been the way I was raised, but I think that we all, deep down, see ourselves as good people. We do our best to do the most good in the world..... we just don't always make the best decisions. I don't think anyone really thinks that they are evil.
