He has a very interesting point, if you are not here to be productive you are probably here to be destructive, in which case cessation of your own life is a very logical choice... Though we must look deeper into the humanity of a person and see that everyone brings something to the world, thus everyone has a worth. Therefor no one should need to kill themselves unless they have some form of mental sickness.
But who is able to say which people are actually being proactive. This of course is why I cannot take a comment such as the first seriously, as it did not address any of the small details such as mental illnesses (which does not strip a person of their worth, only gives them a more difficult time getting through life normally.) There are several more factors to consider than just "They contribute therefore it would be wrong if they killed themselves, or according to me they are not doing anything for the good of man kind therefore it's perfectly fine if they kill themselves"
