Do I think it's messed up? Well, yeah. If you want to date kids, something is wrong with you, get that checked out in therapy or some biz.
Of course, Anime kids don't even look like people, in fact anime
people at all don't look like people, so if their features are so distorted they no longer even resemble kids in actions, thoughts, appearances etc., designed and voiced by adults, then it wouldn't necessarily make you a ****** to be attracted to a "12 year old" designed to look not like a 12 year old, like a 35 year old adult male. After all, in Anime a 35 year old looking adult male could be a million years old if he was a vampire or something, so on and so forth, and they often have inhuman features, like giant eyes, blue hair, really long limbs, supernatural powers, etc.
However, if you are genuinely attracted to children, that's probably not good. It may just be a fetish, but if you have a true underlying problem, you definitely want to see why you do, since it's not exactly biologically natural to be attracted to children, any more so than say, a dog. If you're a furry and you like humanoid animals, then you like the humanoid parts of them, not the animal ones, and that's also different (I.E. cartoonish drawing distorting realities and adding adult, human features to creatures that otherwise wouldn't possess them in real life, and thus might be in the clear).
