that's the logic used whenever a female teacher rapes a male student. in those cases, I've seen children as young as 11 referenced as "nearly grown men capable of making their own decisions about sex," and even saying that it's criminal to punish the woman, since "no woman's gonna throw away her career to have sex with a student. clearly, if anyone's a criminal here, it's the student who tried to ruin the poor lady."

but the same logic is never applied when the genders are reversed, because "of course he'd throw away his career like that, because men are pigs"

Well no s**t. That's how it works. Oh! And don't forget, if she gets pregnant and doesn't abort, even if the student is like, 13, he STILL gets sued for child support. Because clearly if you don't pay, while 13, for a baby that is yours because you were raped, you're a deadbeat. At 13. Even though you had NO choice in that matter. That's just how things work

Oh, and if you complain about it, you're a misogynistic deadbeat white trash woman beating pig who's complaining about nothing, and just wants women in the kitchen, and all you're trying to do is derail "real" issues, like... woman being shown as sexy in magazines and s**t. THAT'S what you should be concerned about.

In both the examples you two have provided, the adult needs to be seriously beaten and locked away. Notice I don't specify a time frame. Because it should be permanent. It's the only way to guarantee that they don't do the s**t again.

Agreed, but apparently twelve counts of child rape, providing children aged 13 with alcohol and weed, only gets you 29 months in prison

I'm aware there are those on here that will crucify me for this, but it's reality. If you have a v****a, you can get away with a bit more.
I'm seriously disgusted with lawyers that defend these perverts and work to get them reduced sentences. It should be a mandatory life sentence for teachers that do that s**t. Or a bullet in the noggin.

I wouldn't exactly go that far.
There was a teacher recently in Texas who was arrested on child molestation charges for sleeping with 5 students. The students in question were 18 years old

If sex offender lists were limited to the worst of the worst, the *****, the rapists, etc, I wouldn't have a problem with it. But you have men on there who were merely accused of a sex crime and took a plea deal to avoid a costly trial and jail time, so they may or may not actually have committed a crime. You also have men on these lists for minor vices such as public urination. There are also men who at age 17 and 18 slept with their 15 or 16-year-old girlfriends and were then reported for it.

The non-violent "sex offenders" are no more dangerous to children than the average person is and shouldn't be treated as if they were.

That's not child molesting, but I definitely see the teacher/student power ratio in that factor, and understand it.
I also believe that there should be a federal network so teachers can't go to other states with bad records and go back to work. And yeah, it does happen.

I have an idea to improve sex offender lists: break them into categories based on the severity of the offense. Something akin to this:

Red list
Rapists, child pornographers and molesters.

Orange list
Consumers of kiddie porn, self exposers and public urinators.

Yellow list
Romeos (guys who had sex with underage girlfriends) and sexters.

And of course the different lists would have different degrees of supervision and restrictions on freedoms, with red having the most and yellow the least.
Putting children in a place where they would feel inclined to "Trick" a ****** would only make it all the more dangerous for them.

How would public urination be severe enough to be on the orange list?

Because it's still a type of exposure.

That seems a bit extreme. neutral I'd be much more offended if someone actually came up to me and flashed their genitals in my face over seeing someone pissing on a tree. Public urination is an asinine crime to be put on the sex offender registry list.

I agree with the idea of the categorized list, rather than treating all "sex offenders" as if they're child raping sex fiends, but indecent exposure and public urination belong on the yellow tier. It's....honestly not that bad. In fact, the construct of "EEK! A p***s!" is itself asinine. It's the human body, for ******** sake...

And what of the "EEK! A p***y!" Oh right, women can't be sex offenders, because they don't has a p3n!s....
Joanna Lumley ought be on such a list, on account of being offensively sexy.

So would breast feeding come under orange? That's a type of exposure
