Personally I wish I had school uniforms. I mean sure everyone looks the same but that's where accessories come into the mix. If you have school uniforms it gives everyone a chance to stop judging people based on how they dress. It keeps you from worrying about what you're going to wear and you don't have worry.

In mandatory learning, you go to school to learn. In college and the like, nobody care if you go to school in your peegee's. i prefer a uniform to whatever they want to wear. In schools where there are alot of gangs, it really cuts down on fights because of the idiotic notion of "color" I went to a school like that. i wore hand-me's from my brothers(because i wanted to,<I still steal from their closets> wink and I got to see others who were dressed in hand-me's as well, but because they didn't have a choice in the matter(I did.) When we went to uniforms at that school, it cut down on those fights (gang-banger idiots)by quite a bit. I won't say I was bullied over my clothes(or period), (because they tried and found they had a problem on their hands when they went flying down the hall.) But others were, and the teachers didn't really do anything to help the ones getting bullied unless they were seriously hurt, as in hospital-time hurt. So other students had to be the ones to break up fights. so I strongly support unforms. Creativity in dressing be damned. ig you want creativity in clothing, go get a sewing machine and classes on hhow to use it. Everyone is still dressing the same, because of big-chain stores selling multiples of everything, so creativity is gone in that arena. Besides, in highschools and middle schools, you are looked down on and/or bullied if you look or act different. Uniforms just cut down one of the excuses that bullies have.

I live in the UK and nearly all Primary and secondary institutions have school uniforms I know I did in my primary and secondary schools so that's ages.

4-12 and 12-16 Apparently the collages (two because I got excluded :/) I wento after that used to have a policy but it eventually became untenable mavericks have a tendency of wearing the opposite genders uniform as an act of defiance. And then the idiots were like gonk scream gonk

Anyway yeah Uniforms in my experience are total bullshit I got bullied the ******** out of it doesn't matter what restrictions you put on dress code teenagers and children will still be dickheads.

It's been demonstrated time and time again that uniforms are ALWAYS going to be used as a scam by the school to extort money from parents. Hang on source.

And yeah in my many years of experience the school uniform is just a waste of resources for hyper-authoritarian types. You shouldn't invest in control measures unless they actually have a point.

Although I will say this my secondary school uniform consisted of a Maroon sweater with the logo on it and black trousers. When I was self-harming nearly every day and I would suffer a massive haemorrhage in the middle of class bathing myself in blood, unless you actually touched me and realized I was bleeding profusely you could never see the blood stains.

If I choose to wear the same colour combination of Dark red and black for 4 years then you might have suspected something was wrong with me.
