Perhaps if you learned how to spell out words when you type (if you want an educated answer) then I would take this much more seriously.
To answer your question, school dances always seemed pointless to me. It only makes those without dates (or friends to go with) feel worse about themselves. School is not for dancing, it is for learning. Except for prom or homecoming, money used to fund dances should be used for something else. Then again, schools probably make more money with entry fees anyway.

Although I may be biased from my lack of dancing skills, I have never liked dances. The only decent one I ever went to was my 8th grade graduation dance that was only my grade...so they shouldn't have them until the end of middle school.
