Agreed. Plus the way that kids (not like my peers and I can talk) dance nowadays and the a** backwards Sex ed that may or may not be taught in schools. No, you should all have less dances and more work.

I never got the point of having dances in middle school. I think it just a lazy excuse for teachers to not teach, and make kids feel uncomfortable as hell. Seriously, most of the time middle schoolers are going though some serious changes. The last thing they need is to feel pressure to show off their new rack, failed balance, and body odor all the while looking like a hot polished mess. Plus the fact that 9 out of ten the music is all edited and you can't really dance no how.

Really the time wasted in these stupid events should be used to teach your kids how to spell correctly or proper social skills.

I like the idea of school dances but sometimes they can get a little out of hand. And by out of hand I mean sexual. There's nothing appropriate about grinding on the dance floor with your partner to the point where, if one were to look, they may mistake it for dry humping.

My high school showed a video to the rest of the school after just such an incident happened. It involved our school mascot humping the walls and pillars to the beat of some hiphop music.

You can probably still find it on YouTube. It was very popular in Germany around 2003-4.
