And you realize that if a cow isn't milked, it will die, right?
idgaf?

you asked, i gave the reason.

Gotcha. It's a sliding scale. That is all I wanted to know.
Your point didn't counter their answer at all. A cow dying doesn't nullify the consent argument.

There's also the fact that milk cows were bred that way, not that that makes 'em any less dead.

Maybe that wasn't the point?
You cannot counter a point with a counterargument intended for another point, especially if that point hasn't been raised.

Ugggggggggh. I could just link you to my blog. But then I'd get banned.

I have too much to respond with to this.

Google 'effects of a vegan diet on energy levels' maybe?

Also, I went on tons of diets, none worked. I did have hypothyroidism and chronic nausea before I went vegan, and that definitely could be the reason for my increase in energy - since veganism cured my symptoms of hypothyroidism and chronic nausea and depression. But that doesn't change the fact that countless people have documented an increase in energy simply from switching to a vegan diet. Do you think all those people lived off a diet of McDonald's every day previously?

And you should watch Forks Over Knives.

Maybe read The China Study.

Animal proteins are killing us, according to modern medicine.

But that's all a big talk without any scientific evidence.

You could just pm me it and I could look it over.

And it could be a result of decreased stress or increased insulin that helped with your hypothyroidism.

I don't think it cured you so much as it helped to alleviate symptoms, which is fairly easy to do.

You're trying so hard to ignore what I'm telling you. Forks Over Knives and The China Study is filled with nothing but scientific evidence.

The reason is that dairy causes autoimmune diseases. That means when I eat dairy, my body is attacking itself.

But where's the evidence?

It says it without actually providing the evidence.

What's your blog called then?

I mean so far nothing has really been presented.

It's called The War Has Only Vegan, and it's on blogspot.com
And I just sent you a pm with a link to the health page.

That was a trailer. The evidence is throughout the film.

And throughout the book.

Anyways I really should be going. You can do any research you want for yourself I think.

Uggh.

Okay so your milk source.

It misconstrues cause and causation.

A single auto-immune disorder happens to be documented in higher amounts in ares where more milk is *conceivably* drank more but that doesn't automatically mean it's a result of milk- it could be a result of a lot of things, and there's no indication that all these people got it as a result of milk anyways.

I'm surprised and thrilled that it actually gave a mechanism, even though it's flat out wrong.

Your body doesn't see milk as a foreign invader- there's not even cell tissue in it that could cause that. Further more digesting something destroys the tissue and doesn't result in the absorption of whole cells so it really wouldn't be possible. Thirdly, that would mean that all predators should conceivably suffer as a result and that even plant and all cellular tissue will be seen as a foreign invader and dealt with by the immune system even though it's not. So it's automatically wrong.

The real reason why people said milk was bad to begin with was becuase it was hard to digest.

But as long as you don't drink too much your stomach won't be upset so there really isn't a problem.

But what if that wasn't the point and no argument was made?

And where'd my smiley go. cry

Oh well.

It happens.

This is just a recent article I read. I've read a million more but I'm not going to dig them up for you since I have other things I really need to be doing right now. I do wish that you would research things before you said them as though you're totally omniscient.

Well, something that does hold water in that article is how calcium reduces vitamin D levels by using it to attach to bones but, Vitamin D simply helps out with calcium and calcium does not specifically inhibit it in other functions of the body which ends up using it with little problem.

But considering that the only vegan source of Vitamin D is UV irradiated mushrooms and yeast (and that is questionable in terms of health) and that fish and meat have the highest concentrations I don't think you could really isolate the problem to milk, or at least that being vegan wouldn't help so it's a moot point.
