Welcome to Gaia! ::

there are many votes left uncounted, and the politicians refuse to count the remaining votes.

considering there's a hair's legnth separating mr anti-corporation, ron paul, and mr "bet ten grand" mitt romney, this sounds VERY fishy, as if people are scared to complete the election fairly, in case the unthinkable happens and ron paul gets a fair shot.

I'm not saying it's a conspiracy, but IIRC, an election isn't final until the last vote is counted. You don't just stop mid-way and declare whoever you want the winner, ignoring the rest of the votes. This is america, not russia. We're not supposed to have screwball electi....*remembers bush/gore*

Well, ********. Facism time yet?
Which communities haven't held theirs yet? Do they have enough votes to make a difference? <-- important questions.

There's twenty or less votes separating paul and romney. I'd say, it's close, and refusing to count the remainign ones...the only reasoning I can see is to keep paul from getting those 20.

Ron Paul 1,996 35.7%
Rick Santorum 989 17.7%
Newt Gingrich 349 6.2%
Other 61 1.1%

Let's pull this up real quick.
20 votes? Where did that come from?
By the Nine, what if the choice ultimately ended up as Paul vs Santorum.

I derped a zero. Still, close, and still, dosn't warrant ignoring votes.

Well, according to the news article the OP posted::
"Rick Santorum and Newt Gingrich did not actively participate in the contest."

I suppose it's nice to know that Mr. Paul can edge out the two guys who didn't even show up to the party.

Anti-corporation? He doesn't want to tax the richest of the rich either. Also hasn't proposed anything that would help regulate the outsourcing of jobs, etc. which is why corporations hurt America (along with the less competition, less opportunity for small business, cutting off of water supply, lack of healthcare provision for their employees.... the list goes on

All of the republicans are 1000x worse than Obama, even Ron Paul who seemed like such an intelligent guy at first. They all are the same.

PAUL: I’m pretty critical of a lot of millionaires and billionaires because they ripped us off. They got the bailout, they enjoyed the benefits of the bubble, they get contracts from government, they’re part of the military industrial complex, the banking system is in bed with the government. So they don’t deserve this money. They should not only be taxed, but they should have all their benefits removed.

Quote:
"Outsourcing is a reflection of a bad economic environment domestically. If you fix that, you fix outsourcing. Our primary export is paper money, and that should change if you change the monetary policy. We should drop the Overseas Investment Protection Corporation -- which makes taxpayers cover losses for U.S. companies doing business in foreign countries -- have a sound currency and lower taxes. With that we could become competitive again, but that is going to be very very difficult."

excuse me, what?
I already made a thread in the Politics section how Paul uses a loophole to get delegates.

Consider this one a Paul win.

Early win counting Romney Vs Loop hole jumping Paul...

Ain't that new, grimy tactics in politics... neutral

Considering how intensely the party and media have been trying to deprive Paul of his fair share, I honestly wouldn't give a damn if Paul used some "loopholes" in being represented.

You can't play fair against cheaters and win. lol
