The Obama Administration is issuing a mandate under the United States Department of Health and Human Services that will require all religious institutions, such as Catholic hospitals to partake in abortion and sterilization

The Administration has cast aside the First Amendment to the Constitution of the United States, denying to Catholics and other religions our Nation's first and most fundamental freedom, that of religious liberty.

Never before has the federal government forced individuals and organizations to do some thing that goes against their morals, their conscience, their beliefs!

We are not a Communist nation, so why is our Government acting like one?

It makes you stop and think really, where is this great nation headed?
Who knows what they will force out of us next. This needs to end now.

Yes it is, they were disusing it in CNN and FOX, the mandate was issued just last month and we are given one year to comply from August 2012 - August 2013

This seems awful, I'll have to look into it. I am very concerned about the fact that a Government which claims to support liberty would have the audacity to overcome the boundary of private organization and decide for the preferred morality. This combined with the threats of NDAA, SOPA, and the like is just frightening and disgusting.

And that quote was from such a long time ago. She received a lot of flack for it. Granted, I'm not sure if Obama's health care reform bill is shrouded in less secrecy now than it was then.
