Mr. Morrison

Which is why I said "suddenly", as in I would have been unable to react to the situation at first.
Now I know ***** don't always just run up to a kid and molest them, but hey it can happen.

How would they be "suddenly" molested if you were there? Please give me a valid example of any child being molested right in front of the parent. It's been shown that those kind of cases mostly happen when the victim is alone/unattended.

Look. Random people just don't go out and rape people for the hell of it.

Victims are victims for a reason.

If I run around the house, slip, and skin my knee when I tripped on a toy, is the toy to blame? No. I'm to blame, because I was running around the house.

Victims share as much blame as the rapist him/herself.

No, they mostly do it for power and control or out of anger (not necessarily towards the victim).
Are you honestly saying most people who were raped somehow encouraged it?

There you go. They don't do it randomly.

What I'm saying is that the victim had to had put themselves in a situation to get raped. If circumstances were different on their part, then they would have avoided the nasty situation.
Sleeping in my bed is a "nasty situation"? Or are you just in denial that break-in stranger rapes happen?

Hey. I know a guy what got raped by his babysitter when he was a kid. Not naming names on account o' privacy.

You go tellin' him it's his fault, I'm gonna put a bullet in yer skull. And when they try me fer murder, I'll point out it's just as much yer fault as it is mine.

Threats? Seriously?

Hypotheticals. On account o' you ain't gonna be able to tell him. Cuz I ain't givin you his name.

But it'd still be your fault.

Unfortunately for your friend...he must have done something in order for that ordeal to happen. I can't say what could have happened since I don't know the full extent of the events that led up to it.

Obviously (as I've said "SOME" victims), there are certain situations where the victims has no fault. I'm basically gearing my conversation about where the victim could have prevented it. For instance, some women are just down right teases. They shamelessly flirt with guys they don't even know and then cry about it later if things go too far.

They shouldn't do that, but the rapist is still responsible for his actions. Men aren't mindless; they can control their actions and back away from a bad situation.

Make the situation in your favor. Carry a gun in your house. Take self-defense classes. Do whatever it takes...but don't assume just because someone is raped, doesn't mean they should get all the sympathy.

If they want to be a tease, then that's fine.
There is no way to justify rape, no matter how much a girl supposedly led some guy on.

I AM IN NO WAY JUSTIFYING RAPE.

I'm simply saying that just because the rapist was wrong doesn't mean that the victim is automatically scotch free. It's PARTLY their fault for insinuating a situation, fully knowing there are those kind of people out there.

I am fully aware that there are ***** out there.
If I take my kid to the park, and for whatever reason, they are suddenly molested.
It's not only the ***** fault, but partially mine for going out in the world knowing there are ***** out there?
Riiiiight.
***** /=/ CHILD MOLESTER

That is all.

I wasn't labeling all ***** as child molesters.
It was just an example.

AS I'VE SAID BEFORE, I DO NOT JUSTIFY THE ACTIONS OF RAPISTS. BUT...

That doesn't change the fact that the victims had some responsibility in it. And you've actually agreed with me...

Hoshit, now we kin blame him fer global warming too!

I just quoted the lust for power as the primary reason for rape. :S
How does that have anything to do with what the victim does?

Obviously not. Just CERTAIN situations, the victim is at fault. Look at the bigger picture. Not just the worst possible scenario you can come up with.

Well, y'know, she left her house without a body guard so clearly it was her fault.

No, I don't. I'm acknowledging that getting so drunk that she can't say "no" or daring someone to have sex with you are bad ideas, but she isn't initiating the violence. The rapist is.

It was an example.

But this police officer mentions it happening:
Quote:
In fact, children are kidnapped,
molested, and murdered in virtually every place they play,
pray, go to school, and live. In some cases, children have even
been molested right in front of their own parents without
anyone realizing what was happening.
