Okay to start out i have nothing against any race i think we are ALL EQUAL but i do have an issue with foriegn people coming and living in my country and speaking their own language all the time. I feel that all the differnt natinalitys are destroying my countrys natural heritage. I have friends who arn't english who are lovely people but it does bother me when they don't behave like english people when they live here. If we go out there we have to follow their customs so why don't they follow ours? I don't think the olden days when other races were forced to be slaves is right because were all equal. I would like to hear your thoughts on this matter.

What American heritage? Minority culture and custom is just as much apart of American society since it was created as the anglo-saxon tradition, so why should I cow tow to the will of the white masses who are ignorant of history?

I'm fairly sure fru_bie is from the UK. We do have quite a history of immigration here, too, but nowhere near as much as the US. Our population is largely descended from the Anglo-Saxons that invaded in the Dark Ages. Not that that makes immigration bad, of course, just that we don't have the same 'melting pot' history (with the exception of London).

I work in a grocery store, on top of living in Utah, which is full of immigrants from Mexico.
While it's a little frustrating at times that many of them don't speak a word of English beyond yes and no and thanks, it's not impossible to deal with.

Making the demand that people adopt your culture and abandon their own, just so they can live and work and support their family is very closed minded and childish.

You really should present some objective evidence for this supposed 'hate, discrimination, and war like attitude' that was either non-existent in the West or based on data, not stereotyping.

I invite you to take a look at Nottingham city centre on a Friday night. The people born here are more than capable of providing their own hate, discrimination and warlike attitudes, and the amount of my friends who've been mugged or beaten up bears witness to that. If some immigrants are scumbags too, well, it's a drop in the ocean. There's twats all over the globe.

When you go to visit other countries you do not have to speak their language, why should it bother you when others come in and speak their native language? Would you be offended just the same if an American went to England to live and spoke American English-their native tounge? It's just the same, except you would just understand more words.

Natural heritage and custom comes from within and is passed down from family member to family member, it's not something that can just die due to a couple of foreginers coming to your homeland and simply, speaking their own language.

You say it bothers you when your friends "do not behave like English people". How exactly do you define the actions of a typical Englishman/woman? How could you define such a thing? A persons' actions are that of their own and they will act as they would. It's not the country that makes them act a certain way.
We all, after all do have minds of our own.

I think people that come to live in England permenantly should learn English, as I hope anyone moving to any country would.

I live in a very white area, but in my school there is still an increasing amount of Eastern European pupils in the lower years. While they have every right to be here, in the education system, it's meaning that the school budget is being pushed because they're having to employ translators and personal assistants.

The only issue I have with immigration is that it's pushing the services to crisis point. (Maternity hospitals, anyone?)

The BNP preys on this insecurity, which makes the whole issue a little dangerous.

call me what you want, the last thing America needs is to have "trash" brought in from other countries by the rich Jews because they want cheap and easy labor.There is already a shortage of jobs and its already getting hard enough to get one in this country as it is. the last thing we need is for immigrants to come in and work for cheap money. No, I think I know where she's coming from; she feels can't act in her own culture in her own country. To me, I think that's unfair that we can't practice our own culture in our own country. I don't mind if foriegn people speak their native tounge, but when they speak to me, they have to speak English or Japanese because I don't know their language (Unless they speak Japanese or English).
