Separation would work, but with the changing world, we all have to deal with each other. And what do you mean by racial dissolution?
Aww racism isnt that bad anymore. allot of people just say it as a joke and there playin around example...

"hey ***** get over here"
or
"Aww look at that little cracker"
and maybe
"All you crouts act alike huh?"

but yah know there are occasional people who are like "damn beaners commen into are country". People tend to remmember the small number of bad remarks instead of the good ones. wink

Like I said before, they shouldn't say it at all. It /should/ be offencive because of their history, but no one brings that to fact, they think of it as a joke.
PRINCETON: You're a little bit racist.
KATE MONSTER: Well, you're a little bit too.
PRINCETON: I guess we're both a little bit racist.
KATE MONSTER: Admitting it is not an easy thing to do.
PRINCETON: But I guess it's true.
KATE MONSTER: Between me and you, I think . . .
BOTH: Everyone's a little bit racist sometimes
Doesn't mean we go around committing hate crimes.
Look around and you will find
No one's really color-blind
Maybe it's a fact we all should face.
Everyone makes judgments . . .
Based on race.
. . . .
Ethnic jokes might be uncouth
But you laugh because they're based on truth
Don't take them as personal attacks
Everyone enjoys them —
So relax!
. . . .
KATE MONSTER: You're a little bit racist. . . .
GARY COLEMAN: All right! Bigotry has never been exclusively white —
ALL: If we all could just admit
That we are racist a little bit
Even though we all know that it's wrong
Maybe it would help us
Get along!
(Brian and his wife, Christmas Eve, enter.)
CHRISTMAS EVE: Brian! You come back here! You take out lecycuraburs!
PRINCETON: What's that mean?
BRIAN: Recyclables.
(Everyone laughs.)
BRIAN: Don't laugh at her! How many languages do you speak?
KATE MONSTER: Oh, come off it, Brian!
Everyone's a little bit racist.
BRIAN: I'm not.
PRINCETON: Oh no?
BRIAN: Nope!
How many Oriental wives have you got?
CHRISTMAS EVE: What? Brian!
PRINCETON: Brian, buddy, where you been?
The term is Asian-American!
CHRISTMAS EVE: I know you are no intending to be,
But calling me Oriental —
Offensive to me!
BRIAN: I'm sorry, honey. I love you.
CHRISTMAS EVE: I love you.
BRIAN: But you're racist too.
CHRISTMAS EVE: Yes, I know.
The Jews have all the money
And the whites have all the power
And I'm always in taxi-cab with driver who no shower!
PRINCETON: Me too!
KATE MONSTER: Me too!
GARY COLEMAN: I can't even get a taxi!
ALL: Everyone's a little bit racist — it's true
But everyone is just about as racist — as you!
If we all could just admit
That we are racist a little bit
And everyone stopped being so P.C.,
Maybe
We could
Live in — harmony!

sorry guys, that was "Everyone's a little bit racist" from Avenue Q
Right now, I think the people are way too sensitive. In my opinion, political correctness has gotten way out of hand. The other day, an African American friend of mine yelled at me for saying "African American" People are getting oversensitive and being offended by terms faster than we can change them. Earlier this year, a children's book writer was sued for depicting the elderly in glasses and an elderly man in a wheelchair because it was too stereotypical. I think everyone needs to loosen up. It's quite common that people say things to offend others, but not THAT common. If I call someone black, I don't mean to offend. If someone calls me white, I don't mind. I'm white. I'm one of the whitest white people I know, and I'm fine with that.

You should burn in hell if you say a racial slur hateful or jokingly. Wiger counts because its like saying you are a N**** but white.

You sound like one of those people that doesn't care if a black person uses the "dreaded n-word," but gets bent out of shape when a white person uses it. Now THAT is racism. Saying one culture can use a word and another can't... Bull like that is WHY words have such power. If everyone walked around calling each other slurs, nobody would care after a while.
Imagin

"hey honkey get over here"

"yah what you need *****?"

"you see thoughs zipperheads over there?"

"you mean the ones by the beaners?"

"no no the ones by the crouts"

ahh thats what world peace will be like wink

Separation would work, but with the changing world, we all have to deal with each other. And what do you mean by racial dissolution?

We do all have to deal with each other, but that doesn't mean we have to live together or intermix. Racial tension between whites and blacks would be gone if they just didn't live together and both could refrain from expansionistic policies. When too many different populations live under a state's authority and presume to constitute a nation, they lose ties to their unique pasts and instead degenerate to the lowest common denominator of values. Look at this country; everyone likes beer, money, fancy cars, the latest kitchen appliances, and so on, but the strong distinctions in values between the varying races are being stamped out under the banner of "tolerance".

Examples where racial dissolution has contributed to the downfall of an empire: Great Zimbabwe, the Aztecs and Mayans, Yuan Dynasty China, Rome, Austria-Hungary, etc. - the list goes on.

I am playing devil's advocate here somewhat. I do support racialism but I don't think segregation is all that important.

I'll sometimes say a racial name and I'm sure other people do to, but what do you think about racism in the modern world?

1)You can't speak on racism and hold racist ideals yourself, nor can you hold misogynistic or phobic attitudes(i.e. the "Some of my best friends are (insert slur here), so I can say (insert phobic/racist/sexist remark here" excuse is bullshit, and so is the "well, it's all PC and stuff, but I'm going to speak out because I hate prejudice, and I feel that I'm so oppressed" excuse. I don't care what ethnicity you are-no, you won't always be correct, but the intent to correct yourself upon offense of someone else is better than a callous one.

2)You do not get a permit to be racist if you are an ethnicity other than white, no matter which comedian says it's cool.

3)America is a society that was founded by racist assholes who happen to be caucasian-this, by far, does not make all caucasian people evil, just as not every american-african, latino, or other race of people are "all (insert stereotype here". Period. I don't care how many times you saw Malcolm X(and if you did, and actually watched the movie and read up on the history, you'd know that he was enlightened enough to recognize his ignorance later in his career)-just because one caucasian person was ignorant to you does not make them all assholes. In the same fashion, just because MTV shows you "those black people" acting ignorant, and you have some thugs at your school, it does not make them all ignorant, nor does it make you an authority on the issue.

4)Unless you stop making an effort to propogate the ideals of racism, no matter which friend tells you it's cool to use which word or think which way, the bullshit and ignorance will continue. Quit giving yourself an exemption notice because your friend is "black", and you're "black" and using the N-word, and quit repeating the same tired arguments against Affirmative Action because you like the thought of "those people" getting angry-you're only one human being, and unless you're a deity, your perception of the world is not the only one.

Apologies if I come off a little heated, but I keep seeing this same sort of ignorance over and over again in the cesspool that is ED...

There's a song called "Everyone's a Little Bit Racist".. I think it's kind of true.

I dunno. I have many friends from many different ethnicities.. sometimes I think I feel more racist towards my own race, white, than to others.

Obviously, it's bad. But.. yeah.. it happens..

Everyones a little bit racist is from Avenue Q, and the point of the song is that everyone is, that no matter who you are you can't help it, and being PC all the time is just going to hurt things more. Better example: I have a black friend, and he is pandered by teachers all the time, the ones with pick up trucks. They give him good grades, and his work -he admits it- isn't all that good. It's about at a c average, like mine. But he gets the better grade becuase the teachers are afraid he might kill them, "like those LA blacks on TV", if he doesn't get his way. This is racism. not reverse racism, but racism, becuase they rationalize treating him specially based on his colour. But we all do it.
honestly? I'm going to say this now:
NEGRO! You kno what I just said? I just said the colour "black" in spanish! it's pronounced "neh grro" I think that is where the "n" word came from being that spanish, and other languages are based from latin root words..personally I think it's stupid to be afraid of calling someone a negro..it's the same as calling them "black".
Before you all have a freaking hissy fit, because I said "negro" I just want you to know that I'm Mexican, so I just said "black" in spanish so hush hush now stare

Uhh... the Mayan civilization had already declined once in Chichen Itza, and the Mayapan civilization was already rapidly declining once the Spaniards got there, as were the Aztecs in Tenochtitlan. The Spaniards only sped up the inevitable.

On the other hand, the Incan empire was not in decline when the Spaniards came. This may be due to the fact that the Incan "empire" was really a large series of more or less autonomous city-states united by a few things; the fact that they all adopted Incan farming and food storage systems, they all paid tribute to the Incan rulers, and they all had to serve in the Incan military.

hm, it is true a lot of ppl have a slip of the tongue...they dont actually mean to offend that race, but it comes out all wrong...I think racism is unjust and the MOST STUPID thing ppl ever came up with..."oh, your skin isnt deathly pale, so you must be form the devil!" "oh, you don't have 200 dollar suits and use buffalo skin, you must be savages!" it was so dumb of the early settlers to act so close-mindedly towards those who were different...if we were all the same, that would be pretty damn boring. 3nodding
