I'd reccomend to people who are addicted to drug or alchohol should seek help from N.A. or A.A, my mom had a bad drug and beer addiction problem and she went there, with help from them shes been going 2 years without drug or alchohol.... hopefully this is a suitable answer for this thread.... sweatdrop

but i dont want to quit stare
if someone can convince me (WITH REAL FACT) that i shouldnt use pot ill quit.. what do you guys think of that

So you don't care your killing your brain everytime you smoke it... which leads to other problems?

it does kill braincells.. yes.... but only a really small number... in 50 years of smocking you prob gonna lose 1% of the braincells you actually use and you only use about 3%of your brains (dont know the correct number but its close)
and 50 years are alot of time to make fun...
i think there are more positive things then negative

But again, those were my choices. And like I respect and admire your decision not to do drugs, you should respect my decision at that time to turn to something that I thought would help.

As I said, I don't think that turning to drugs as a way of relieving stress is something to be respected. The ability to make your choice asyou wanted is something to be respected, but what you end up choosing is subjective.

You still don't seem to get it.

At the time, I wasn't relieving stress. I was preventing my own suicide. I had many issues at the time, involving my sexuality, the discrimination I faced in the bigoted small town I lived in, and the fact that I was left by all my friends, alone and a shell of a man.

And when you judge someone without understanding, or trying to understand, what they've done, you aren't trying to accept them-- You're trying to pigeon-hole, and look down on, someone.

In the past I was addicted to porn. I'm betting that I wouldn't have the will power to put a physically addicting drug down given how easily porn consumed my time.

there is a much smaller chance for getting cancer from pot then from tobacco
and you can get cancer for free in the sun

Yes, I understood. Though you didn't say your problems, I knew what htey were. However I didn't think it was my place to say them and base a post on them.

*sighs* when I say moron for choosing drugs, I mean the choice is moronic. A person can be intelligent, but make stupid choices.

I'm not judging anyone, just their choice, which is completely under their control, in my opinion.
