Yes,it's me ED,but this time I come in peace.

How long do you think the human body/brain is able to endure an orgasm?
An orgasms usually lasts less than a couple of minutes,and I was wondering if there's a reason behind this.
We reach a climax-state,but what would happen if it could be prolonged?
I guess our brains would meltdown,we would probably go crazy,and not be able to ever come back from that climax.
I'm not really sure,I think it would be interesting if someone experimented with this.
What's your opinion ED?

I disagree with the second part of your statement.
I think it's the most natural way to get a massive ammount of endorphins straight to our spinal's fluid.
But the first part was interesting: We could develop a certain tolerance to endorphins with time.

Well, neurochemically it is likely possible to extend an orgasm; you would just need to make sure that the chemicals present during an orgasm are persistently present and effective for longer than ordinary, and that the brain and body are capable of such without direct physical modification.

You would need a laboratory, test subjects, funding, assistance, and a doctorate in neurochemistry or neurological pharmocology to find out for yourself. I hate how elitist scientific research is, even if it is by neccessity.

Orgasms are a climax of excitement. Like all climaxes in any sort of story or event, it's the shortest-lasting part of the whole experience. Since it's such a short-lived moment, an overly extended variance of it - while the body is in such a high - could most likely be very harmful to the body.
