I don't think online dating is dumb. In some ways I like it better because I get to know the person so much better. I hate when people tell me I can't feel a certain way for someone just because I haven't met them face to face. I've been talking to someone for the past year and a half on the internet and phone and my feelings for them are just as strong as if I were to be with them in person. I would be lying if I said I wasn't head-over-heels in love.

Though I must say that I am a snuggle person and because I can't hug him or snuggle with him when I need or want to, it hurts-just a little bit, but it still hurts and can make you feel a bit lonely at times.

I have dated online before... it was a very odd phase in my life.

Right now, I currently have a long distance relationship with a person that lives in California, me living in New York. It can only exist on the internet or over the phone, because of the distance. But yeah, I hate the chicks around here... so yeah... "real" girlfriends are BS, as most of them don't act like the real them around you or around your friends.

YES! I would agree with you on this. however, you forgot that people that date online are probably sex offenders or murderers. just keep in mind that dating online would be ok if the person is your date in the real world. such as my fiance. we met in the real world and talk via internet as well as at school. so, this kind of "internet dating" would be fine. but there has to be real people. just meeting people online and dating them...well, lets just say that you could be 60-70-80 years old and dating a 6-7-8 year old.

so this would be a problem. the moral of the story, date online only if you date them and see them in the real world, you computer nerd...
