McCain! Because Obama-socialism is just not cool... talk2hand

People really need to stop calling Obama socialist, because he's not socialist whatsoever.
I'm not american so i'm not gonna vote for any of them, but damn it's such a cheap trick to just say "oh god noes a socialist". I'm personally a socialist, but why is that such a frightening thing to some of you? I mean let people have their own political views, and if you're gonna against something atleast know what it is you're against!

He is a socialist. Just like the socialists that have been running France. They finally got smart and realized they couldn't afford socialism and elected a conservative to straighten things out (that would be Sarkozy). Socialism causes people to expect to be taken care of by the government without working hard to make life good for themselves. When people stop being productive the whole economy goes to crap, just like here in Europe. The few people who do work hard have to carry the load for people who won't. We don't want that in America. You can believe what ever you want, and you sure don't have to agree with me, but I should be able to have my opion too. That's called freedom of speech, we have that in America, and we don't want that to go away with the freedom to keep what we earn for working hard instead of having to give it all to the government.

Take it from a socialist. He ain't a socialist.

Besides, what do you have against roads and public schools?

Some people don't like the a bit of the millions of dollars they make every year to go into projects for the poor, homeless, and the middle-class who are paying out the a**.

Uhh, wouldn't angry and overtaxed middle class folk then vote for Obama? The man's tax plan gives the entire middle class a pretty significant tax break and an even bigger break when you try and send kids to college.

Honestly, most of our tax dollars go to military spending these days. It's our Big Expenditure. If people were really fiscally conservative they'd demand we bring our troops home and cease this pointless exercise in empire building when within 15 years most of the energy resources Iraq has will be greatly diminished in value.

And before you say, "We can sell that oil to China and Russia" hold that thought. What we could sell for a hell of a lot more money is massive engineering projects to upgrade the solar, wind and geothermal infrastructures of these countries.

The future of the US is far more secure if we begin radically investing in non-oil energy technology, getting 20 years ahead of everyone else in that, and then selling it off.

Obama is pro-choice. Not pro-baby killing.
McCain actually cares enough who a stranger sleeps with to spend money to support proposition 8.
The majority of peole actively supporting McCain on this thread are n00bs who type in ALL CAPS.
And before people get on me about that, no, I would not actually base my political opinion off of a few people who can't spell on an internet forum.
Change we can believe in.
And do I even have to mention that phone call from the 'french president' today? rofl

Obama thinks it is OK to kill a baby that is born alive in a failed abortion attempt. He thinks babies are a punishment. That's what he said early in the campaign. He said that if one of his daghters accidently got pregnant, he "would not want her to be punished with a baby." He thinks killing unborn babies is a better choice than a person taking responsibility for a life they created. All that sounds "pro-baby killing" to me.

Proof.

And, besides, unwanted pregnancy can be punishment, just like unwanted sitting in that chair in the corner can be punishment. No, pregnancy and chair sitting are not punishments on their own, but depending on the situation, yes, yes, they can be.

not babies. babies crawl and eat baby food. You would rather have a mother that does not want this child be forced with it? I see infanticide going through the roof. We just wanna kill them before they can even think.

Agreed. And would YOU want to have a baby early?
I live in Quincy, MA. We have a program called "Teen Mothers." It's basically girls who got pregnant at an early age (one of them is 15). Since they didn't/couldn't get a abortion, they had the baby and it basically killed their lives. They still need to finish school so the a special program is needed for them. A lot of the girls have also been disowned by their parents and have little or no economical support to take care of their baby.

No argument with me that the government spends too much money, they do! If spending it on the military keeps us safe from terrorists, then that is just the price we have to pay.

As far as Obama giving us a tax break, don't kid yourself. He and Biden can't get their numbers straight, I have heard Obama say two figures 250,000 and 200,000 and below will get a break. Biden has said 100,000 and below will get a break. I don't think they have a clue what they are talking about. They'll just say anything. Guys like Obama and Biden never give any thing back to the middle class, they just tax and spend.

lol. They could be in Africa and we'd still be in Iraq.

Some people feel safe with a night light on, even though it doesn't really do much good. That's the sit-rep in Iraq. The only time we're really killing terrorists, and its not Al Qaeda but the people we "liberated" from Sadam Hussein, is when they run into the troops and blow themselves up.

It isn't the baby's fault they got made. Why is killing the baby the best answer to teen pregnancies? Having a baby early really does mess up a girls life, but killing the baby ends the baby's life, isn't that worse? If you do stuff that can get you pregnant, shouldn't you have some responsibility to make it right?

The thing is, the baby is not consciousness of its being when you kill it. It's just a mass of cells that one day could be a conscious life form, but not for a couple months. No one feels bad about cutting their hair, although no, hair won't be a human life form one day.

what say we fine them? I don't have a problem with that. I just don't want the baby to be a punishment. Babies can ruin lives, there are women who simply refuse to have a baby. We will have close hanger abortions and increased infanticide.
