Can I ask a question? Will McCain or Obama actually bring change or happiness to us, the American people? Is there any politician today done anything good for the American people? Just thought I'd ask. I don't have much faith in politicians.

It's marginal change. Everything on the President's agenda has to be passed through Congress and the House first. (Right?) So change takes a while. It's more the President's influence over social issues that I'm concerned about, and getting him/her to sign in good bills and veto bad ones. And yada yada some military bologna...

FDR's New Deal was pretty helpful, I recall. xD And Clinton's surplus by the end of his term. Al Gore got people interested in the environment a bit. ... I fail at History. Anyway, some are good. Most are scumbags, but some are good.

So, you know what they do? Whatever it takes to survive. Crime, drug dealing, theft, you name it. Or, they just starve half to death and lose their electricity. Sorry, but I'll pay a few extra bucks out of my paycheck to not have emaciated, poverty-stricken people running the streets.

Also, minimum wage job holders work just as hard, if not harder, than 250k earners. Which is harder: mining coal, or sitting in a cozy public office?

You're also a bit confused here. Middle-class people aren't being taxed by Obama. They get TAX BREAKS. That includes most doctors, lawyers, and university professors. Upper-class people, the once Obama will tax, are people like Paris Hilton and Don McNabb.

Maybe the people who are recieving are money are people who don't want to work? they want to sit around all day and spend wellfare on cigarettes and crud like that. not everyone actually works while on welfare. I'm voting for Obama on Tuesday for a multitude of reasons.

It basically all boils down to the fact that his views on the issues most important to me more closely match my own. And that's the way it should be when choosing who to vote for.
