I'm a firm believer that music/videogames/books/tv/movies do not affect children
The hallucinations I suffered in high school would like to disagree.

LOL...... Yeah, my year of velociraptor nightmares when I was 11 begs to differ. cool

Clever girl...
It all depends on what music you like to listen to and what kind of person you are. I've got absolutely nothing against songs like that. I may not listen to them much, but they don't bother me at all. See, some people can simply handle stuff like that maturely and look past the 'message' it's giving them...and others not so much.

If any kids end up being brainwashed into being alcoholics by songs like that, it's their parent's faults for allowing them to listen to it in the first place.
I listen to another "T.O.K." than you do.

I like the really meaningful lyrics. It portrays exactly how I feel and I can relate with them.

Im good with the whole educating them thing, but I wouldn't take their music away.
By the way, that song pisses me off so much, I now call Britney Spears toleratable.

If music wasn't able to affect people, then it would give no emotions at all. But it does. However, we have to keep in mind that it will affect some people more than others, and that how it will affect people most probably will not be immediately, nor it will be consciously... most probably, or course.
