What are some common situations in everyday life that clearly shows differences between men and women?
Discuss the different outlooks and responsibilities assigned to men versus women-
I look forward to seeing what you say!
Hmm. Why? This doesn't sound like an extended discussion-caliber question. Where's the discussion at?

To answer your question: going to the bathroom.

Edit: Why is "men" not tagged as well?

Too short - keywords have to be 4 or more letters

Then she ought to tag "male", "female", and "men and women" as separate tags. Just sayin.

I think - I'm not sure - "men and women" would count as three separate tags even if the comma weren't included manually, which would then cut out "men and" as being too short.

But in a real sense, they can't. I can pee standing up.

But most other things, yeah. Things women can't do:

1. Pee standing up
2. Form a Y chromosome

However, the (truncated) list of things men can't do is longer:

1. Gestate
2. File a rape claim and keep any dignity whatsoever
3. Be glorified for ten years for maiming their spouse (sorry, I'm not a misogynist, but I hate Lorena Bobbitt.)

Women can actually do (or get away with) more things that men ever could.

Women can do most things men can and men can do most things women can, but neither can do everything that the other can.

However, in the sense that I think the OP asked the question, there is little difference. As an example, look at Sgt. Kim Munley, the female cop who shot and stopped the shooter at Ft. Hood after having wounds to both thighs and to her wrist.

Now look at the garment industry. There are at least as many famous men designers as there are females.

Two small examples out of the thousands upon thousands.

I agree, though I must say that there are plenty of XXY women who would take offense at ol' numbah 2.

Women can pee standing up, too. I've done it plenty of times

I stand corrected. mrgreen
Although men and women may share some obvious biological differences, these changes don't exactly mean much. Just because a woman is different in this respect doesn't mean she's any better than a man, or vice versa. Men and women, although knowledgeably different, shouldn't be "versing" each other. To promote that only serves to be divisive towards human unity and only propagates existing counter productive sexist myths.

The problem with using specific, everyday examples to point out gender differences is that gender differences are not specific: they are general. In general, women are more langaue oriented than men, but when you start talking about individuals, it's very easy to point out men with exceptional langage skills and women with poor ones.
