I remember reading a study a few years back that had concluded that woman tend to have a higher average intelligence than men do.

However Men have higher numbers in the Far upper echelons of Intelligence.

(I.e using random numbers) Your going to have more women in the 118-124range than men.

But your going to have more men who are in the 130+ area.

Of course untill I can dig up that study, it's all just ******** balls.

and even if you do dig it up, society could be a major factor on the sex differences for intelligence scores based on their development in society.

-from a young age for a female there's no such thing as:
-embracing intelligence. since the rest of the girls only go half way
-encouraging a harder attitude and higher standards.
(there isn't competition among the females to compete for anything meaninful in the first place duh)
-accepting a maverick personality in a female who doesn't give a crap usually means she can ONLY BE A: popular girl who's also probably a whore, a delinquent, a drug user etc

Anyways according to a bunch of studies with I.Q. tests woman were mildly higher than men on average in 2001 and 2011.


According to the same study in 1991 men were mildly higher.

What does it mean?

It goes on to continue to validate we are equal due to the fact that the statistics shift mildly every year but tend to equal out.

IQ tests may determine distribution differences, but they cannot possibly support evidence with regards to average differences between genders. They are scaled so that the average IQ for men is 100 and the average IQ for women is 100. Given how they are set up, it's impossible for them to indicate a difference between average performance by gender - they really just aren't a good indicator for that.

There's some fact of the matter - I just can't prove it either way. I don't know what it is either way. But there's still an objective fact of the matter...it's just a fact I don't know.
The facts in the world are clearly independent of my knowledge.
My inability to prove what the correlation is (if there is one) has absolutely no bearing on whether or not there is a correlation there.

I remember reading an article in a newspaper a few years ago that women were smarter than men in the field of mathematics, but of course, this experiment was based on exam results. I do, however, think that there is no higher or lower intelligence when being compared in terms of sex. Funnily enough, a lot of articles that I've read suggest women are much smarter than men..

See above to note the difference between deductive reasoning (which you are using correctly thus far) and objective fact, which requires empirical proof.

With your original point, the objective fact is that either men are smarter than women, or women are smarter than men, or neither is true. You made a thesis and "supported" it by saying you couldn't support it, but it was true anyway.
