Haha, it was only like.. two sentences in Latin, making an offering then marking each other's foreheads with dirt. If all goes to plan, we both eventually want a full aristocratic style one. Problem with that, would be finding someone who (accurately) portrays an ancient priest to officiate over it. We consider our vow sacred in the eyes of the gods regardless, so it's honestly no huge difference. I've joked about getting married that way since I was knee-high to a grasshopper lol

Well with a child involved it is best legally to be married just so there aren't custody issues, hospital issues, and any other issues I haven't heard about (all the issues that homosexual couples have to deal with).

But otherwise I like waking up every morning and knowing that my love is there because he loves me and not because he's trapped in a marriage that he can't financially get out of. The fact that he could leave any time he wanted makes it all the more special that he is still there.

I think that in general marriage itself isn't important. I want to get married one day because I think it would be really lovely. The romanticism and the comfort of such a thing.
