I am against, not because I am a rabid feminist of any kind, but because there are external consequences to legalizing prostitution that people who are looking at the issue on the surface do not immediately see.

Gonna to stop you there. This isn't about any of that. If this was a legal job or career then clearly it would be like any other career field in which children will not and cannot work in. Do you see 16 year old bus drivers? NO. Do you see 16 year old biochemists? No. Same deal here.

The age of content for this field would probably be bumped up to at least 21 or hell even 24 due to the social norms. Therefore legal whorehouses or houses of pleasure would only have people of that age range.

Sure the mafia and whatnot will probably still have children in their highly illegal ones but the majority of legal whores would be of AGE!
