have you ever smoked crack?
(and yes this is going somewhere)
The argument is that being under the influence of drugs does not excuse individuals of their responsibility to not go around breaking the law. The second point is that the major criminal element associated with drugs is getting the money required for the drugs. One would hope that a system where you could buy substances legally would remove the prime cause of criminality.

but the problem is that i know people who personally smoke crack, and they say oh ill only get one thing of it and then it turns into all the video games being stole. my ex relapsed and he had three hundred dollars on him, that his i-pod touch, his parents wii, all their games and his laptop. in one night. crack is something you have to smoke all the time once you start cause the withdrawal off of it, sucks. and people don't wanna go through that.

Well if they were legalized and prescription only maybe their health insurance company would cover the costs? Then again those two things are not in the field of in depth knowledge so I'm just making assumptions.

Former Mexican President asking for decriminalization.

Some stupid article stating that psychedelics help mentally different people. (Which I already knew by using it to cure many of my own problems with the past and fixation)
it will never happen, the real heads of the cartels arent in mexico or colombia, they are in america, wearing nice suits and making sure drugs never become legal so they get to keep their billion dollar monopoly.

im not saying it should be, but that's what people are going to do once they start doing drugs like that, all they wanna do is get high and sit around,
Assumption. Hyperbole. Unless of course you have data supporting this? No? Well I must say I never expected that.... stare

Which is it anyways? Is everyone going to be too lazy to even move, or are they going to go raping and murdering people? I've seen you claim both.

Quote:
they're not gonna get high and go "oh hey time to go to work". that's not how the world works.
and who are you to say im retarded?

I constantly do drugs as a way to ramp up before work. So who's world doesn't work like that? Yours?

Im Sol--Badguy, and the implication that people should be fine with violent crime just because drugs are legal is retarded. You are woefully ignorant on this topic.

Too bad that he later reversed his position. He wouldn't be in this mess if he hadent taken americas blank check to fight the drug war for them.

When did he "reverse" his position?

2 to three weeks after he said it from what i understood. Full legalization is no longer on the table according to the last statement I heard calderon make.
