I believe there's not too much mature content children should be restricted from. Sex scenes maybe. The thing is, there's so much kids don't know that they won't even pick up on it. For example, I used to watch Card Captor Sakura. In the show a little girl dresses up in random costumes made by her best friend, who is in love with her. Her best friends mother is also in love with her. I never picked up on that, because... well, I was a kid
OMG you lie I watched that too I guess I need to google what you just said, but I would have been to young to pick up on it as well.

She's constantly going on about how cute Sakura is, making outfits, has a WHOLE VIDEO ROOM dedicated JUST for watching videos of her even while not fighting Clow Cards. She goes everywhere with her, makes her lunch, and generally crushes on her hard

The few times Sakura meets her mother, her mother basically acts the same way

Yeah that's... not really what it is.

Sex is lots of things and certainly quite pleasant but it is gross. You'll understand when the time comes.
I don't think you understand how much porn I've seen and read and written.
I don't find it gross
if you find it gross then there is something you're doing wrong or you aren't comfortable with yourself

If you are turned on by other people have sex something is probably wrong with you.

Also since drawings and stuff aren't really that's also kind of silly. xp
THE MAJORITY OF PEOPLE ARE TURNED ON BY OTHER PEOPLE HAVING SEX
THAT'S WHY THE PORN INDUSTRY IS SO HUGE YOU UNBEARABLE, UNEDUCATED PRAT

No, they aren't.

Like, 99% of porn is consumed by 1% of people.

I mean sure lots of people like looking at naked ladies but seriously, not porn. xp

I'd like to know where you got this statistic. Pretty much everyone I know watches porn, some more than others, but I have a really hard time believing this.

No, they're watching porn. I've talked to a lot of my guy friends about the porn they've watched, even some of my female friends who I'm really close to. Some have asked me to send them some good porn when they couldn't find anything themselves (honestly this kind of baffled me). My girlfriend and I have watched porn together. I have even watched porn with a few of my friends.

Where'd you get the statistic from?

Within your own circle, you have people who watch porn.

That doesn't mean everyone, or even the majority, of people are watching porn.

They like to think they're everyone but really they're like 1%.

Those who do it on a regular basis.

Again, I ask, where did you get your statistic? I'm seriously curious.

Just common sense and intuition.

But let's just break it down. Old people, comprising at least 50% of the population that would be out watching porn, usually don't watch porn.

Of the population, about half are staunchly conservative and find that stuff bad (although the neo con's probs watch a lot of porn), and at least half the liberals don't watch porn because it's degrading to woman, they're above that etc.

So maybe you're left with 12.5% and of that only a small percentage probably watch porn on a regular basis. Of t hose who do, only very few actually like the actual porn, and most watch it for the girl or guy, not for the actual sex or watching someone, of the same sex, presumably who they're not attracted to, be naked and do stuff. Of all this, only a small few percents probably actually watch porn on a regular basis, for the gratification in and of itself of watching two random people have sex. So, 1-3%, max.

At best, it's like 11%, 40 million out of 300 million or so.

And the same people watching a lot of porn isn't the same as everyone doing it. xp

Also actual porn isn't the same as just watching say, naked woman. xp

How many people go look at Kate upton? Probs alot. How many watch porn; not so much, but yet that would still be considered "porn".

Well I'm going to politely disagree with you on this one. I don't think it's possible for the porn industry to be a multibillion dollar industry if an overwhelming majority of people don't contribute to it, especially when there are only a few hundred million people living in the U.S.

Only like a small percentage of the population really pays for porn.

Parents should be explaining the world for their child before TV and Public school teaches it first.

This whole aversion to talking to your children about sex baffles me. They're going to find out about it EVENTUALLY. It might as well be before they hit 4th grade, when that one kid smuggles porn into class.
why does it have to be from their parents, though? information is information, it doesn't matter where it's coming from.
Because parents should be parenting their children.

Exactly.

And if you don't want your kid watching stuff, don't buy a TV. It's actually pretty easy, folks.

But it's not fair to fill programs with gratuitous amount of porn if people don't want to see it.

I don't want to see it, and I would hate for it to be in children's shows.

I mean if I want to watch porn, it's right there, in the internet.

There's no need for it to be in everything.
Wtf are you talking about? Nobody said anything about putting porn on basic TV.
