Spongebob. XD

So many innuendo in that show. So little time!
Hello again, todays question is this; do you think this way of life will be more accepted in the coming years?

As much as I can wish, no. I don't think it will, but a wider understanding should HOPEFULLY have arose, with people like me at the forefront of the awareness/understanding theme.

I don't think so. It has come a long way though. I'm starting to see it a lot more in the media. Granted it usually isn't portrayed well in the media but it's a start. There are a lot of people that still haven't even heard of infantilism. Sometimes I kind of like it that way. It really could be a lot worse. Such as the church going against it much like the church being against gay marriages. If that happens then it will be even more of an uphill battle.

Churches rarely go against niché communities. They just don't have enough fire.

Just imagine it.

"These devil children sit at home in DIAPERS! DIAPERS I say! THE TOOLS OF THE DEVIL! Your child has been consumed by hatred and fear because he or she must rely on a pacifier and plushies to comfort him or herself! They have strayed from the Lord and will burn in eternal hellfire for partaking in peaceful activities that hurt absolutely no one!"

They'd have a better chance with Furries or BDSM.

Then again, they'd prolly spin it as a sexual thing, as opposed to comfort. Likely with more unfortunate implications. But yeah. Unlikely that anything would really go after it, but that doesn't keep it from being disapproving. >__>;;

I have to say I kinda like the fact that it's not very well known too. That way, if some situation comes around that makes me decide to tell someone about myself, I have a good chance to be able to explain what it actually is without getting "Oh, those freaks/perverts/insertwordhere?" or something like it.

Not that they don't try, keep in mind. I lived through the great D&D scare of the 1980's when it was Christian trendiness to go after the "Devil's game".

But it would take a truly outrageous and media grabbing event to get them to do so.

And I do remember coming across one small Christian support group that really did have the express purpose of turning around infantilists, but it was more a "If you WANT to leave the lifestyle, we're here to help" sort of setup.

As for Furries, they already have a group after them. Anonymous. Ever hilarious to know that a gang of internet bullies who get their jollies from lolicon, goatse, and animal torture get righteously indignent over people dressing up like anthros.

I heard from somewhere that it was originally going to be an adult show where Spongebob and Patrick were gay together xD
No idea if it's true, but it's funny.

Anyway, happy New Year, everyone! I have neeeeeeews! ninja
My boyfriend proposed to me on New Year's, and I was supposed to go home on Tuesday, but I've decided to stay here in Sweden.

Anonymous are just the equivalent of Neo-Nazis. Taking them seriously is dangerous, but also, not taking them seriously is just as dangerous. Revolving circle.

If it's strange, Anonymous is after it.
