I have no problem with it at all, so long as it doesn't affect your school or work life, why not? ::chuckles::

It affects both, but not in a negative way, after a night with my paci, i'm generally more cheery in college, so hey, I definately can't complain! ^_^

First of all, DON'T take CSI's word on what infantilism is. As someone already said, CSI blows certain lifestyles (furry, anyone?) out of proportion. Believe it or not, CSI is not about science. It's about ratings, because it's a TV show like any other.

If you want to take television as a reference, try Sin Cities. Two British men wandering around the world and trying their hand at every fetish or mildly sexual experience they come across. It's brilliant.

Anyway - infantilism isn't something I personally would ever find appealing, but I can understand how it would be. Returning to an age of innocence would be highly therapeutic for dealing with stress, rather the same way that any other roleplay does. Takes you out of the world incorporating the stimulus that causes the stress and replaces it with an easier-to-deal-with environment.

In the infantilist's case - that of a baby or very young child. Submitting yourself utterly to the care of someone else (in the case where there's a mommy or daddy available) could be quite delightful. In other cases, a simple reminder of an innocent, easier time (i.e. the pacifier).

So, while it's certainly not my thing, I can understand it and accept it.

And kudos to Danny (who seems very cute, by the way) for being so open about it. I don't see anything wrong with it, but I know many people do.

How true! Being able to escape from the world sometimes lets you release every last bit of anger in your heart...It's rare for infantilists to get angry at anybody but themselves...Which is a good thing, no violence, and tantrums just end up in items getting damaged instead of people...Or like me, just a few minute based tear tantrum...

Not everyone will find it appealing, alot of people smoke, do drugs or drink alcohol to relieve stress, this is our own special way of getting rid of it...One where we don't need to get intoxicated in any form...It's safe, and it's rare that ANYTHING at all can go wrong...
I would advise it to anyone, but not anyone would take my advice. Still. Choices are choices, opinion are opinion, and i'll leave everybody to their own, but I refuse to just stand by and not educate, arrogance is what tears the world apart.

As for CSI? Pfft...Great show, but they really do take things MAJORLY out of proportion...I love the science parts, but the second they hit onto a lifestyle episode...I end up frowning...They can't portray anything in even the CLOSEST manner to reality! *Sigh.*

And...Cute? Thank yuh! ^_^ By being open about it, it's made me much happier...Getting a big secret off my chest has made me such a better person to myself.

I would just like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their input so far. ^_^

And just a little progress report on my life.

Mom bought yoghurts, not a big deal most would say, but she's not bought yoghurts since I was about 9...So yea, i'm a very content little boy right now!

Hope that you are all well and that you can come and discuss infantilism some more. ^_^

Danny. <3

Oh, and just to say, before I miss out and forget.

Happy Saint Pattricks day!

I have vodka and Irn Bru in a bottle in my own celebration. Mwahaha!

I don't believe it is wrong. Why should it be? No one is the same. Everyone has their likes as well as their dislikes. You aren't hurting anyone, and as you said parts of your lifestyle is affecting you in a positive way. Kudos to you for being open.

That's an awesome way to view it. ^_^

And thanks, I try to be open!

Hehe...I get so many PM's from people who are interested in infantilism.

So, anyone who is interested, do feel free to PM me, I keep all PM's private and I can help you as much or as little as you like. ^_^

I do? Awesome! I'll be uploading pictures with my bottle soon.

Anyways, back to discussion, any input?

*claims a cookie* Hmm..I'll add my input now. ^_^ I just find it really comforting in ways. For me also, sucking on a pacifier brings a sense of security and satisfaction. I just bought myself one after having my last one thrown away over a year or so ago, and the other night I slept better and longer than I normally would. Also getting attention and being fussed over a little is great, it makes you feel like you're loved no matter what age you are. For me, I don't quite find the roleplaying part of it appealing much, nor do I find the diapers appealing. I love to cuddle with my close friends, I enjoy being close to them. The bottle is just comforting in a way, not sure as to how to explain it. I don't find strollers or anything of the sort interesting, but some of the toys are quite fun to mess with. One that never gets old is a jack in the box. <3 I don't quite care for the bright coloring of clothes, but some of the t.v programs are awesome, such as Dragon Tales, which never gets old to me. ^^

Well, there ya go Danny. ^^ My little input, I don't think I'm missing anything, I think I covered about everything. lol.

I love art o: draw me? ^^ <3

Please read my novels and short stories and comment.

To be honest, I like watching little kid's shows and I like sucking pacifiers. I'm not an Infantilist though; pacifiers help me salivate better and little kid's shows are just too much fun. 3nodding

Huh, never really thought about infantilsm before. I still suck my thumb and have a blanket I have to sleep with. So I suppose I could be considered to have some symptoms.
Though in my case I'm pretty sure the blanket is a replacement for human touch which I've never cared much for. It's my personal wire monkey. Heh. So I'm prolly a completely different animal than someone who wants to be cuddled and coddled.
Still, something interesting to think about.
