oO He was fully clothed. They just refused to serve anyone from the furry convention across the street. Which is good, because he didn't want to eat there all that much anyway, but still. People can be really rude. I'm trying to figure out when Denny's of all places started caring about what their customers did.

Somebody spit in my sandwich at sub way because they had figured out I was homosexual (they had a recent PFLAG parade in town) but that's because I live in the south in the middle of a babtist community. But because you like furries? That's plain out stupid. -_-

You could have gotten them fired if you spoke to the manager. They're not supposed to discriminate against anyone. Especially people participating in conventions and parades, because there's so many of them. Not only do they have lots of money, but they also have lots of friends that can come kick your a** heart

I went back up there and raised hell (after throwing my sandwhich in the guy's face) but I don't like resorting to violence. Oh and the guy was fired; turns out he was drunk ^^

Yay! Shame he was fired for the wrong thing, but it worked out for the better heart Go you and your airborn sandwiches!

He still lost his job - He got what he deserved.

Me neither, but in certain cases I'm willing to make exceptions. Probably good that nobody ever messes with me.

Sandwich in the face and fired? That's more than good enough. ^^

i am an amasing fighter yet i dont like violence...and i think that a sandwich in the face and fired isnt enogh...that wont teach him a lesson...just give him a reason to dislike gays

This is a point.

The question is: Is there actually ANY ACTION a person can take to change their opinion other than explanation?

It's a good thing my friends weren't there. They would have beaten him to death with marching band instruments after throwing 32 sided dice at him >_<.
I still wish I could make him actually sorry for what he did... And I mean that in a innocent way! Not as in 'hunt you down kill you' kind of way! -__-"

[Wow I'm a loser]

It would be more comical if he found himself ending up in a gay bar by accident, and he gets hit on by loads of guys.

This is how I see it, nothing past explanation will change someones opinion because actions tend to be more shocking than revealing.

Can a death of a parent at a young age lead to infantilism?

Definately, any traumatic event can lead to it, but usually depression induced infantilism isn't always safe as it's not always choice based...

Thanks?

Perhaps more a congratulations? Although I can't say your actions were justified.
when someone doesn't "act their age" there's a reason for it beyond "it feels good"

i want to know the underlying reason

true...correction more of a reason...and people like him make me sick...

People like him are dangerous as disacceptance is an easy cause of violence.

Already does dislike gays. Tough to teach people like that. If they don't want to learn... ^^;;

I want my slaw!: Yes.

There's more to it than just an episode of CSI. People fear what they do not understand. While this isn't my cup of tea, and I'd probably be weirded out by any significant other with a similar mindset, it's inoffensive.

Why would you be weirded out by it even now that you know so much more about it and have (hopefully.) gained a new insight and acceptance to the topic?
Well, to be honest, I was pretty familiar with it to begin with. I don't look down on anyone for it, but it's still such an alien idea to me that it would probably take me completely off guard.

This may sound odd, but if you understand it so well...Why would it take you off guard...Would it not be like seeing a goth or emo on the street?

So when he explains in a drunken rage to the cops why he was wailing on a different f** in the alley he can at least have a motive.

It wouldn't be a valid motive, and he'd not only be done for breaking the piece, but also discrimination which holds a stronger penalty.

Breathing air could lead to infantilism. I'm sure it's possible; more than that, it makes logical sense.

Choice is a choice either waym though anything can help bring it on, even a few simple words can bring it on.

In their minds it's justification. They feel that their hatred is justified because of the action of one.

Is there anything that hatred can trully justify?

I just hope I'm there to ******** him up if something like that happens. I have no tolerance for people like that.

How could you justify attacking him for that? Because...You're simply showing an act of hatred upon him and are therefore no better than him?

one thing i have noticed...and im not sure if it is completly true is that most people who dont like gays are not very intellagent

No, the homophobe community is as varied as the heterosexual community.
