I don't mind fetishes. If every once in a while you want to dress in a diaper, s**t, and have some chick clean, breastfeed, and eff your brains out, then go back to "reality," that's fine.

It's the lifestylers who I can't stomach. They're making me cynical about all of mankind. ;-;

The same goes for furrys and the like. I don't mind people who want to get nasty in a fur suit on rare occasions. I get irked at the people who want to wear the fur suit in regular everyday life and feel the need to incorporate their "furryness" into every aspect of their every day routines.
I don't think any furries actually do that. And no furry in their right mind is going to have sex in a fur suit; they're far too expensive to risk getting dirty or torn in my opinion

Lets not generalize.

The sex industry makes tons of money from weird sex costumes/suits. Freaking living doll suits have zippers at the crotch for just that (my friend uses one such suit for his contortion routine. We make fun of it all the time). Plus isn't not exactly difficult to clean or mend a damaged suit.

That's not actually true, for most furries, doing it in the fur they wear is all about it...Without the fur, it would mean nothing to a good number of them.

Uh...the majority of furries aren't fursuiters. If I based the proportion of furries that are fursuiters on the FWA con I recently went to, then around 1/20 furries even own one.

I was THINKING about editing something like that into my post, and I'm thinking I should have =p I have visited one of those sites before and it was...grr.

And I meant that no furries wear fursuits in every day life, I DID edit that in...

Mmm, it's true, not many do, but many WISH they do, I have a friend who is a furry FAN, he LOVES girls in kitten ears, I got his girl to wear black angel wings...He didn't stop smiling at me for ages.

I have quite a few furry friends, and out of them all, only one of them I know actually wears a fur suit.

Well, that I can understand. The majority of people that go to anime cons don't dress up either, but every single one of them (including me >.>; )freaks out every time they see a new Sepiroth/Cloud cosplay.

(I saw your thread yestersay. I'd say more but I'm not ED worthy)

I'm sucking my pacifier right now, it makes me feel really good.

Anyone find it cute? Or do you just find it disturbing?

And Princess, don't be scared to try, if it contributes to the forum, then it should be interesting.
Honestly I'm perfectly fine with anyone who wishes to act like that. As long as their whole entire life isn't based around it. For example if they go to a store or somthing they don't start acting the age they do whn they are infantilisming(thats not a word I know). If you want to suck a pacifier fine, just don't pressure me into doing it.
Wait... so if I rp a kid under the age of 9, that makes me a infantilist?

I mean, I have read the opening statement several times now, and I cannot put it all together.. can you explain it?

I mean I act like a little girl sometimes, like I whine and whatnot, but not for attention---just because my parents spoiled me a little too much and thats how I acted when I didnt get my way---but even if I dont find anything...I mean ANYTHING sexual about infants or babies, that makes me an infantilist? This is the first time that I have ever heard of this before, so can someone explain this all?

You sound more like an age player if anything, you are only an infantilist really if you are interested in infantile things...It's just more common for infantilists to RP as children under 9...Doesn't make every person who RP's a little girl or boy an infantilist though...And it's real play that really makes an infantilist, not text based stuff...though that's usually a start for some infantilists, especially me.

Cute? Thank you. <3 Hehe! ^_^!!!!

Anyways, does anyone wish to ask me a question or add to the discussion?
What I don't get is why your advertising it to the world. This seems to be the sort of things people have and have accepted, not spread the word about. I'm not saying its bad to be one, but why must you tell people? If it's a medical condition, fine, but why tell us? Live the way you must, but don't expect us to care and say well thats great. If its a mental condition, then you can't just say you are, you have to be diagnosed. It seems to me that when you start advertising it, your just doing it for attention. Informing people, and just trying to get attetion is very different. If you are just trying to inform people and I've been getting the wrong idea, then I'm sorry, but I still stand by what I said.

It is informing, and being proud of whom I am. I also am interested in discussing it, just ignoring the existance of something or keeping it hidden from the world is just arrogance in my eyes, sharing information and facts is what makes the world a better place!
He is trying to inform people. It's not for attention at all. I know because I posted in the version of this topic that got mvoed to Chatterbox for some unknown reason before I found this one. Now, here's that post:

On topic: I really can't say I see anything wrong with this. Of course, now being aware of it (I've never heard of it before today), I believe there's a chance that I might have my own mild case, so to speak. I use my thumb and not a pacifier, but still. I"m more comfortable going to sleep like that, curled around something or someone (usually a really big teddy bear or something equally squishy, although I'm just as comfortable going to sleep cuddling with my girlfriend, and have fallen asleep numerous times with her stepmom's baby laying on my chest (and the two-year-old [I tend to babysit fairly often]).)
