3nodding Don't worry about it. I have difficulty sleeping without my fleece blanket and Chotto (my teddy bear that's about 3/4 my size). Do anything you can to help yourself sleep, insomnia is bad XD

Working on getting the teddybear, too. I kinda left it in Tampa last year, then ended up running from a storm and getting lost. I don't know if it was ever shipped to me or not.

Gah. Wonder what my roommate will think if she sees the teddybear and pacifier. She's always trying to get me to act like a grownup. I mean, hello! It's possible to act mature without acting grown-up, right? Hmph. rolleyes

Just come out about it and tell her, you'll feel better for it. ^_^

Make sure she understands it's not always connected to sex though ^^;;; Otherwise you might get a very negative reaction.

Infantilism is a beautiful thing indeed, it can meet both those who want pleasure and those who want security, but this gives it dual meanings, a double edged sword of which the public must be informed of.

We're working two jobs at the moment to get there for September or so. We've got a couple of transition-related expenses to get out of the way first.

Then perhaps you should get them out of the way as soon as possible? Never good to have something holding people apart?

Transitions take a good amount of time no matter the effort you put behind it. I've only met one person who's been able to transition to the point of surgery in less than 2 years.

The difference is that it involves the mental stability and comfort with oneself much more than infantilism does. So it has a bit of a priority. One that is difficult to hurry, and not always a good idea.

Whee! whee Yay for happy and stuff! I'll be a lot more comfortable once I get out of here. Then I'll actually be held and some of my paranoia will go away.

And you can deal with your infantile tendancies and experiment a little more. ^_^
What have you actually tried so far?

Not much. Right now I'm concentrating more on my transgenderism because it's a more direct issue for me.

Almost as bad as being multiple or something in their eyes, honestly... "Oh, you're an infantilist, you can't be sane or mature enough to undertake this..."

Something like that, I guess.

Therapists rarely say it's bad, psychologists and psychiatrists say it's a healthy way of relieving stress. ^_^

After all, it's not like we seek to harm others or ourselves, or pose any sort of threat. So why would it be bad? No cap on mental maturity either.

That's VERY true, it's often said that infantilists are more mature than normal people because when we AREN'T being infantile, we have to be cautious and careful as to cover up how we feel and what we want to do, so focussing on being mature is something we need to do.

So it's working well for you? That's good. I didn't even figure any of it out until about a year ago, so I have no idea where life is going to take me.

Opening up about being infantilist has changed my life for the better, sure, I may be seen as odd, but I'm twenty times happier nowwa days.

I noted you were 16. I am aware that it isn't about sex in some instances, actually, in quite a few. It is more of a comfort issue than sexual. I apologize for misstating that.
I was directly addressing the issue, and one that most must be made aware of, that most infantilists are not *****. Most get the two confused, but infantilists like people of their same age for the most part, or am I screwed up?

Actually...The infantilist community, like all normal people, like people of varying ages, It would be unfair to generalise and state that one group of people like all of a certain age group.
