Heh. He does it on his own. He knows I'm naturally insecure and need to be held a lot. See, I never got much love as a child. I spent most of my life in my room in silence. Just being with him helps me relax and feel better about myself. He takes care of me physically, mentally, and emotionally, and keeps me safe. Best thing that has ever happened to me.

Daft question, but have you ever tried sucking your thumb when you are alone? It won't harm to try it. I can highly advise it to you if you don't feel a pacifier is for you, hunneh.
You're lucky to have an awesome boyfriend...Being held alot is a great thing.

I have, but I don't allow myself to do it because of my teeth. They're in bad condition and my family had no way of getting braces for me. So I need to keep myself from developing a further overbite.

Understandable. Maybe try warm milk and honey or something of the like to help you settle?

Best results come from sleepy time tea. Especially with honey in it. Can be found at any grocery store, and has a mix of chamomile, spearmint, and rosebuds to help sleep. Quite soothing. I have to drink it instead of warm milk because of my stomach, it behaves oddly. Things that are too rich or sweet cause me to be sick.

I live in UK so the items within stores variate, so I usually have warm milk and honey in a bottle...Or just a hard shot of some strong alcohol...

I try to stay away from most alcohols. Used to like it a little too much.

No, the weight of blankets give me all the comfort I need. In fact, I can't sleep without them. I need weight of some sort, no matter the time of year.

I know the feeling...I usually fall fast asleep either holding my paci or sucking on it. I have a 10 tog blanket, which is thick and warm and I adore it.

I think people who 'participate' (can't think of another word...) in infantilism are fine. As long as you don't completely take it out of proportion, it's fine. I guess I'm infantile.... I always have to hug a pillow or a stuffed animal when I sleep. Otherwise I can't sleep. Also, I always need to have a blanket over me as well.

Nothing wrong with that, alot of people sleep like that, doesn't make you infantile unless you trully feel like a small child when you cuddle blankets and plushies.

i saw a episode of csi where a guy was infatilism and it was really creepy and wierd and gross...he wore a diaper...used a botle..slept ina crib and had a fake mommy that he had sex with...ewws

Please please please read further into the post before making and pre-judgements...TV is a bad portrayal of any lifestyle/fetish as TV only shows the parts that will shock...

If you have any questions or would like to see what infantilism is trully about, please ask and I will more than gladly explain it if you are to lazy to browse the forum for yourself.

I actually think that CSI did a decent job of broaching the subject of infantilism (in King Baby). Yes, it may have seemed extreme but in all things there are extremes. Grissom in particular was non-judgemental and I think to a lesser degree Nick was. I think Nick's confusion was just that, confusion. I also think that as a subject it's way to large to fit into 45 minutes of television.

Conversely, I don't think they did the furry episode (Fur and Loathing) justice. But again, there are going to be extremes. Yes, most furries aren't like that but it doesn't mean there aren't some at all - same with infantilism.

Danny - I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on what you felt they did wrong in the episode.

They included sex. Infantilism is NOT about sex in the slightest, they had the character only enjoy it all for sexual gratification instead of the security and well being it supplies true infantilists...

Infantilism is the least 'sex' based fetishes, and is the one of few lifestyles not focussed on sex. If you said to me now...That you were going to diaper me and do all sorts of motherly things with me as long as I had sex afterwards...I'd more than likely refuse for it goes against what I stand for...Why destroy the innocence and gentleness of a beautiful scene after the 'mommy' has made such an effort over you...Put me down to sleep for a while, then ask me for sex, then yes, definately, I just don't believe you should include sex within infantilism...It may be a part of it, but it's NOT needed.

Perhaps I'll feel differently one day...
I can understand that but I do think that there are extremes as I mentioned. Danny sucking on a pacifier is not nearly as interesting as a large man wearing diapers and having sex with his Mommy. It's what sells.

It's like the furries episode, not all furries are into yiffing and what have you but there are groups that are.

I think your feeling that infantilism shouldn't include sex is your thing because I've read way more about people having sex in that scene than not. Perhaps I'm reading the wrong things. wink

It seems to me like infantilism is sort of like an identity crisis; you don't really want to be older, so you become a baby. It also reminds me of "Peter Pan Syndrome," which is where someone refuses to grow up, get a job, etc (i.e. they live in "Neverland" wink .

You are right, but only half right, as you're only on half the scene...They are ABDL's...The sex crazed ones. We are TBDL's...Teens who just want some love and attention.

It really depends on the person, I admit, for me, their is also a sexual side to it all...But you don't have to have sex to be sexually gratified, do you not?

It is for some, and it isn't for others, it trully variates for person to person, I don't mind growing up, I'd rather not, but I accept the inevitable.

Here is a thought for you:

Micheal Jackson claims to feel like a child and has his own theme park.

Possible infantilist or mentally insane?

Well, Michael Jackson is in his own little world anyway, so he can do whatever he wants, as long as it's legal. . .

Anyway, I see your point. And it makes loads of sense.
