Wow Great Topic. I'm a infintilist myself. I've been one for around oh say 6th months. Officially that is. I have no idea why I like this. It comforts me and I do it when I'm really depresed and its just my way of coping with my sadness. Sometimes I'm not sad and just like to do it for the hell of it. XD Its either this or somethign esle I'm not quite sure of. Anyways I myself wouldn't got around in a stoller or anything I'd just do this stuff in my personal home or somethign. NEVER IN PUBLIC! For as long as a remember I always liked diapers. Diapers led to infantilism in my case. Anyways Yeah I wasn't abused or nothing have both parents. and now I'm more open about this subject (I was a coward and a bit paranoid) ( I have no idea if I"m even posting correctly or somethign @_@)

Well, firstly, I'd like to welcome you to the thread and hope you become a regular!
Doing it when you are really depressed...Do you do it out of choice or does it come to you to do it as nature when you feel bad? It might be your way of a defence mechanism. When you do it for no reason...Do you feel lonely or want to feel good?
A stroller? I wouldn't either...Not ever. In public? I'll suck my thumb, RARELY regress to a childish voice, and quite often, giddy hyper behaviour...Nothing no hyperactive kid wouldn't do.
Diapers are rather awesome...Thick warm underwear. <3 Cosy!

Actually, just a quick question I thought up.
Do people you nkow or have known even penalize you for being and infantilist?

haha I've lost friends. I've maade friends. Some people think I'm odd and they do accept it some bug out and go "GET AWAY YOU BABY MOLESTER" Yeah they don't even hear me out or nothing. But Who cares there loss.

I've not been accused of being a baby molester, but I've lost a few 'friends' over it, I get on with none of my family...Though...I told my aunty, she encourages me, she's so awesome, and I love her dearly, the sort of love where a thought of them brings a smile to your face...

I just figured I'd briefly pop in and offer my random words of support. 3nodding

I'm a comissioned writer, often being paid to write stories based on fetishes such as Infantalism, BDSM, Fur, Latex, Vore, Guro, and other assorted things that aren't considered necissarily in the "norm". But part of being a writer is knowing your material, and as such I often go about (if it is within the limitations of my desires) and experiment with these fetishes and lifestyles to become better accustomed to how I might write out the perspective of the characters. Part of this, as well, is reading other tales on the same subject.

Infantalism is one of the fetishes I took a shot at.

After all was said and done, it never registered on my personal list of things I'd spend my days doing, but it was quite the delightful experience while it continued. People give very little credit to coming into contact with our younger mannerisms and embracing them, even if it takes its own sexual twist at times. xd

Since I've written those tales, I adopted the role as a Mother for several others in an online roleplay scenario, as these darlings were at quite a distance from myself or anyone they felt they were ready to openly express themselves with in such a way. It's been grand, really. :3

What is it that you enjoyed about infantilism? I think that the name of the lifestyle/fetish doesn't exactly do much for it...TBDL is better, but even then, the word 'baby' is associated.

Oh, and on a side note, I think it's rather beautiful that you try to play out your characters before they come into play, that is TRUE devotion to literature and you hold a lot of my respect.

Infantilists are generally bold people, oddly enough...It''s their infantile side which is VERY shy and nervous arround others.

RP you say? Go you! You seem like a decent person, a merit to your family, and a bright star of friendship to your aquaintances.

Wow You're awesome! So you didn't like the fetish itself when you where the baby? but you liked babying them? Thats pretty awesome.

Some people prefer the motherly role, though it is rarer than the actual child role...But I can imagine it would be fun to take full control over someone...And treat them like a little child.

Honestly, I find it a little weird. I'm not going to lie.

However, just because I find it strange doesn't mean that it's not all fine and dandy for someone else. It's not hurting anyone, and if it makes you happy, then go for it.

Would you be as kind enough to discuss what you dislike and find weird? May I ask in what way it is different from say, a common habit, like, say...Smoking?

It's healthy, safe, loving, and needn't involve sex...So it's safer than 99% of fetishes. It's also one of the few lifestyles NOT focussed on sexual activity.

Well, I'm generally as submissive as they come, but this instance had some different outcomes.
I'm physically incapable of having my own children, so babying these darlings gave me the opportunity to express myself through a parental role. As such, however, things didn't quite take on that sexual role that many do. xd

I'm sorry to hear that...If you'd ever like another little boy to fuss over and be cuddled by...Danny is available to PM and talk/RP with, as he's extra friendly and gentle!

Interesting discussion.

Infantilism isn't something I'd really ever thought about, so I guess technically I can't say if it's for me or not, though it's not something I'm innately attracted to. But I'm all about whatever floats your boat, and if you're happy and not hurting anyone, I say damn the torpedoes.

Anyone who'd decide to quit being friends over someone's personal preference(within reason--it's not like you're sacrificing virgins to the dark lord Cthulu) isn't much of a friend.

Now that you have thought about it, is there anything that interests you or that you would care to ask?

Those friends who hold anything against me for being an infantilist are NOT my friends. >_<

um... okay.. i really haven't ever heard of that before and i am a little frightened at the moment. but i guess you can do what you want to. if you like to s**t in your pants go right ahead(not you in particular). its just kind of..no no, really weird and shocking at the moment. sweatdrop
