if a student in school has harmful behavior , teachers would use positive reinforcement to change the behavior
If a student worked on using the bathroon at school and becames sucessful at it then they would be re-train the student because regression had occured and they had been successful before

Umm, I can't make that much of this. But it's not a schools job to toilet train an individual...Kindergarten, perhaps, but a school? Definately not.
I've actually never heard about infantilism?...did I spell that right question ...But yea, never reallee heard of anyone who's into it either. You're the first blaugh
xD. I would classify it as a fetish, and it seems to relate well to, the oral fixation Freud talks about in his theorys.

Thing is...We can manage without pacifiers and bottles, so it doesn't relate in the long run to an oral fixation, if I had any fixation, it seems to be noses and smiles...I love small noses.
*shrugs* Everyone has some sort and degree of fetish, whether it's a socially approved one or not (by socially approved fetishes I mean more known things like bondage, corseting, etc.) . If you like it and it's not harming anyone, why not? I have my own interests that many would consider weird (infantilism isn't one of them, though), and I think everyone does, to a lesser or greater degree.

Many people who reply to this sort of post with the ever-popular EW OMG THAT'S WRONG do so because if they can find anyone they consider to be more depraved than they are, for WHATEVER REASON, they feel more comfortable with themselves and whatever their fetish is. They don't need a reason other than that.

Believe it or not, the beauty lies in that it's not just a fetish but also a lifestyle, it can be one or the other, or even both.

I agree with your opinion on others saying 'ew' and all that, I also believe those who are uncomfortable with others desires and fetishes are uncomfortable with their own.

We actually haven't gotten too many of those. It's all in the way it's presented... focusing on the lifestyle of infantilism promotes better understanding and less outright judgement.
In all honesty, i'm not someone who ever judges the lifestyles and interests of others, after all I have more than a few quirks and fetishes of my own. I fully Believe that is is okay for you to take pleasure in childhood comforts if that is what makes you feel good. There are a lot of people out there that would find such a "fetish" socially unacceptable, but those people are simply not open minded enough to accept somebody else's choices in life. I am truly quite proud of the number of individuals that have posted thoughtful and helpful information in this discussion, and hope that you are able to enjoy your life to the fullest.
oh right, as for ageplay versus infantilim. In my opinion ageplay has more to do with the innocence and naivete of the person playing a child. Meanwhile, infantilism has more to do with the "props". (ie-diapers, pacifiers, cradles, etc.) I'm not sure exactly how to explain what i'm trying to get at, but i'll keep trying. hopefully this makes at least a little sense. confused

Mmm, I feel I took the correct approach, either I got lucky or, I don't know, perhaps whatever power above us is smiling upon me.
So far, we've only had about two flamers out of all the pages that we have graced and spoke throughout. Lets hope it continues this way and we continue to recieve intellectual discussion.

Thank you all who have posted so far! ^_^

A few quirks? So what. Who DOESN'T? People who say they don't have any quirks bore me...Because they are just...How to put it... Normal!
Those who are not open minded, I wish them happiness, but would rather not befriend them...Because, to be honest, it's mission impossible t get a closed person to open up...It takes a great change in someones life for them to open their eyes...And I'm not the sort of person able to give such a change (Legally. rofl ) But, in my eyes, education is the start, and such an event could push the change to happen sooner than later...It's what I fele bound to do.
I'm happy that you are proud to see the amount of intellectuals that have posted and you should be proud of yourself too for speaking up!

Yours greatfully.

In my own views, ageplay has more of an enthesis on sex at the end of (or during) play, infantilism rarely ends in sexual activity and is more focussed on acchieving innocence and settlement of self. Yes, of course there are sexual aspects to it...But there really isn't much in the world that doesn't have an aspect of sexuality to it in some way or another.

That depends, a school has to have certificates for that sort of thing.

well most preschools work on potty trainin if the had them since before needing it and if old enough to be potty trained the daycares dont except it
and public school will work on potty training because they are not going to have to change diapers in a regular ed class and if they are in special ed the can have that as a goal- to potty train
