Another thing that pisses me off about guys today - too many of us watch too much television. I can't remember the last time I've watched television of my own volition and I've been that much more interesting, better informed and more socially adept for it.

I think if other guys spent less time giggling at fart jokes, beer jokes, retarded standup comics and various sitcom incarnations of Homer Simpson, they might have their heads on a little straighter.

It's nice to know that a man is realizing how stupid some other males sound, although tbh, I think this is mostly a problem with horny, hormone-crazed teenage boys.

Now I'm not saying that older men can't be assholes, but predominately, it's the younger, immature ones that act like such idiots. Of course, there are still many decent teenage guys, so all hope is not lost.

Your rant does make decent guys seem like a much more infrequent occurrence than they actually are. I think it really depends on what types of people you interact with. Even in this day and age, when men that you described in your post exist in abundance, there are still a great many gentlemen in this world that don't abuse a relationship, and that can treat a woman decently.

But men aren't entirely to blame, I would think. I think it was... Dave Chappelle? that said it was women who had killed chivalry, and in a way, it's sad but true.

yo op, you should support feminism, but not all feminists agree on whether men can be feminists (because feminism contains a wide variety of views), so I've found that for politeness sake you can call yourself a supporter of feminism and get along with everyone.
