IF, big IF, than I would be genuinely surprised, and I suppose I would request becoming a maggot.

No it wouldn't be easier to pray, read the bible and go to church. It takes more than that to be a true believer, you can do all that halfheartedly or without meaning, which defeats the purpose.
I refuse to conform to or believe something, which I don't genuinely think is correct and don't feel deep in my gut, out of fear of what may or may not happen after I die.
I believe in a divine energy. I have faith. I study many religions, I pray in my own way, I try to be the best person I can be, by helping anyone I can, volunteering, reaching out. I seek to have self control and never hurt anyone or anything with words or actions. That is my path. I choose it for myself and I walk it proudly. If I were change my beliefs simply our of fear of a concept that may or may not be correct than I would say my faith and belief must be rather weak.

2. No. Churches are phony. Last I remember The Bible said to give away you worldly possessions an to basically live like Jesus lived. Why is it that nowadays not only do I see million-dollar, three story buildings laced with gold and the entire congregation pulling up in Cadillacs, I also have some a*****e priest make me confess my sins to him because apparently I'm not good enough to confess them to the Lord directly myself?

i beleive that is wrong there is a hell because y would god make rules if there was no penalty for disobeying them because if there is no penalty for sin then all the ppl would disobey them he dsnt want that

I wouldn't react at all. I'd just accept it. It would confirm my suspicions that if the Judeo-Christian God exists, he has chip on his shoulder and feels that sending people he claims to love to a place of eternal suffering is the only way to resolve the problem.
