i definatly think that its worth it to pray read the bible and worship god i mean he deserves it he did create us after all and he can do whatever he wants with us if he wanted to he could just make us alllive in hell and laugh atour pain we should worship him to thank him for giving us the choice of heaven and not go to hell but if you do it out of fear then it dosnt really count and you will go to hell

I wouldn't give a s**t. I died for my beliefs. Also, if I'm going to hell for not following a god who's injust, immoral, and all around just not worthy? I wouldn't mind.

So if you tripped down the stairs, hit your head, and died then that was a death for your beliefs?

Well, death was being used here to refer in a metaphorical sense to being sent to Hell.

The person is saying that they don't care if God is real(and so they must have other objections to YHWH than simply the lack of evidence for his existence, at least if they want their position to make logical sense). They would stick to their current beliefs, and get punished for it.

What an odd sense to use it in IMO.

I really do wonder what this person thinks they know to give them such strong faith in their beliefs.

Not in my opinion. I think it is a fair use if death. People seem to see it as similar, as they often think of both Hell and death as an unpleasant things that are eternal.

Well, the top reason I can think of is that they think YHWH is immoral and so should not be supported, which isn't really much different to dying for your beliefs because you believe God is real and the absolute moral authority.

I'm not a Christian, but I went to a Christan high school and I was forced to study Christianity.
Just going through the motions wont get you to heaven. You have to really believe.
What Christan believes hell inst bad?

Mormons do not believe in "hell" although they do believe in something worse, I suppose: outer darkness where a rebellious soul is sent to live in loneliness and isolation for eternity.

Christianity in a nutshell: Don't believe in Jesus you go to hell.
You could say you send yourself, if you refuse the believe in a religion that can't be logically supported.

It is something that requires centuries of training and must be felt on a truly spiritual level. I couldn't explain it to a human. And yes, I happen to be a demon with centuries of wisdom under his belt.
