What if you died today (not believeing in god) and god sent you to hell , how would you react (keep in mind that hell is a place where maggots are treated better than humans) ???

and another question

Wouldnt it be easier to pray, read the bible, and go to church (which doesnt take
that much time) , rather than spend an eternity in hell ???

Some people think that hell is not a bad place to be but until you go there you will never know
Considering it is said there are nine rings of hell, and each one is made for a specific deadly sin, I would assume we would feel whatever we were meant to feel. Whatever the specified ring of hell was designed to make us feel, of course.

Now, if we got sent to purgatory, we'd be stripped of everything. Every emotion except...I think anger and sadness, I believe, which leaves you to a very depressing existence until the ascension or whatever, when the world ends. When God is supposed to be a picky ******** and tell people who can and who cannot come along.

Since when did fiction become a reliable source?

Since it scared the crap out of people and made them behave?

Just a few too many religions going through my brain is all, sir. xP
Don't worry, I'm a LaVeyan, I'm not going to get all "SAIL HATAN!!!" on the EDers here.

I'm also a Satanist, and you're still wrong regarding hell. You're citing Dante's Inferno, which is really just Biblical fanfic and...well, it completely lacks Biblical support. Satan doesn't rule hell, he gets tossed into the lake - see Revelation 20:11-15, which I cited.

If I fight a revolution funded by outsiders against a monarchy, I can be considered a freedom fighter. If I am being paid by a few rich backers to topple a democracy, I am hardly a freedom fighter so much as I am a fascist.

Read the wording, son. I said "considering it is said there are nine rings of hell" not "there are nine rings of hell". I said "I would assume we would feel whatever we were meant to feel" not "we will feel burning and pain and yada yada yada".

Can I stop or do I still have to prove that I'm one of the few that DOESN'T have his head up his a**?

I'm actually tossing out what I know from Theistic Satanism AND reading Dante's Inferno, but alright.

Should have been obvious, but that's not really something you can do in this case. If they're extremely vague in their post (like not specifying a god or concept of hell) then you can do it, but they subsequently asked about going to church and reading the Bible - this makes it patently obvious that they're speaking in terms of Christianity.

Even then, it's not unreasonable to assume that they're talking about Christianity in the first place...but when you ask them "which god?" it gets into a fun bit where they tend to start bitching about other religions being false and you can hit them with the burden of proof.

Eh, I was more tempted to pull out the "you're all a figment of my imagination" theory and tell mr.OP why. Though, I'd get flamed right out of here for my sheer cheeky acts due to lack of sleep.

Edit: I like thread-wide arguments, not just OP versus everyone else.

"Music is the branding of the damned. And though, the music will be fantastic tonight, that's exactly what it is. And we're gonna play it for you. And if the condition is medical, the solution will be political..."

I will proudly descend to hell my DEAR!
now let me begin.
if a sinner belivs in god , they will go to heaven . A heaven with rapists , murderers and so on will be living there in heaven . Would you like a heaven like that? going to heaven so u can beat the shitt out of the rapist that killed your litle sister.
So because ghandi didn't belive in god he goes to hell , it's better to be in hell with ghandi and so on in sted of heaven with the crappy ppl who think god is an excuse to do horrible things again and again because they have no self control even though they have it .
God himself belongs in hell! if it wasn't for God creating rape , murder in our minds we wouldn't do such stuff , god is a bad god and now deserves to burn in hell for his imperfection , even though he is SOOO DAMN PERFECT!

Now , wasting time on bibles when we could help the poor people in sted , all the taxes that went to the church could have gone to poor people so they could have got a chance in life , even though god let all those millions of kids to die in africa. ..

I'm not religious I'm satanist so I'll just greet satan from going away from god.

sooo? does it make u think differantly now`?

What if you died today (not believeing in god) and god sent you to hell , how would you react (keep in mind that hell is a place where maggots are treated better than humans) ???

I would react with the assertion that such a being was evil.

and another question

Wouldnt it be easier to pray, read the bible, and go to church (which doesnt take
that much time) , rather than spend an eternity in hell ???

Some people think that hell is not a bad place to be but until you go there you will never know

Hmm, counter question here!

I have prayed (formally, informally, alone, with others, etc), read the bible, and attended numerous churches, all in an attempt to find Jesus.

Unfortunately, I failed. Now, what exactly do you think I need to do to believe in God? Because I don't know how to.

I don't believe in hell (or heaven or god for that matter) , soooo I wouldn't be going to a non-existent place because of a non-existent person.

And on thing about the bible...well...I prefer not to believe in something that says "Love thy neighbor as thyself" then says things about killing people for reasons like being gay or being a victim of rape...or making the rapist marry a rape victim (thank goodness that's not still a rule D: ) . Violence is not something I enjoy reading about at all.

I'd rather burn in hell proudly than bend down to the will of a God who won't accept me for not believing, loving my own gender, working on the day of the sabbath, etc.

I'm sorry, but any God who doesn't see that a person who doesn't believe can be a better person than a believer fails in my view, especially if the non-believer is sent to hell simply for not believing.

Also, praying, reading the bible and going to church does not make you a good Christian. Believing in God and following the guidelines of Christianity does that trick.

#1 Original-Greed fan in the world. I s**t you not.

I don't believe in Hell, the Bible or that God is a man with a beard.

I see your argument, but it's just too bad all of that s**t is bullshit.
Sorry, but you...
FAIL

Just wants to be held...

The people who live far away are the only ones who would hold me.

Let´s turn that argument around, shall we?

"What if you died today (believeing in god) and the Omnissiah sent you to hell, because you followed a belief without questioning it´s validity, how would you react (keep in mind that hell is a place where maggots are treated better than humans) ???

and another question

Wouldnt it be easier to learn, think for yourself, and read a scientific book once in a while (which doesnt take
that much time) , rather than spend an eternity in hell ???

Hmmm.... neutral

If I was wrong, I would undertstand. Also, a lot of interesting people go down there supposedly. (Freddie Mercury, Douglas Adams, etc.)

Besides, sorry if I offend you, I found The Bible incredibly barbaric. (Manily the Old Testament.)

For instance, Sodom and Gommoroh. They were two places of great sin. God sent two of his angels too the only good person in the towns Lot. The townspeople tried to rape the angels. Not wanting God's angels raped, Lot let the townspeople rape his own daughters. And Lot was the good guy.

And the Ten Commandments, why do we regulary follow only two: Thou Shall Not Steal and Thou Shall Not Kill?Don't Rape, or Don't Commit Child Abuse. I think that would be more importaint then not working on the Sabbith Day.

Those are my beiefs man. If you believe in God, that's fine.
