I have a question for athiest and non believers

What if you died today (not believeing in god) and god sent you to hell , how would you react (keep in mind that hell is a place where maggots are treated better than humans) ???

To my understanding Hell is less of a place and more of an eternal destruction! A very painful, agonizing, yet instant destruction. Not much to think about.

You can read the bible, prey, and go to church but still be destroyed in hell. You must have your walk with god and obey him. And in my experience church usually gets in the way of the walk with god, unlike the bible.

Actually. Praying, Reading the Bible and going to church takes time, effort and money. All of which I don't like spending. I could read Interview With The Vampire for the 10th time instead of reading the Bible. At least IWTV is more interesting and won't put me to sleep. :3

Also you can still do those things and go to hell. :3

Hmm? What? Oh, sorry, but I may have my own beliefs! Atheist is literally "one without a god", so since my belief system doesn't contain a god, I'm subject to the whims of YOURS? Screw that, man. I tried Christianity for a while.

I've tried (and am going to examine) a lot of religions. I've been a Protestant, I've looked into Baha'i, and I've got most of the others on a waiting list. Not so that I can join them, but so tht I can use them to enhance the religious identity I've developed for myself.

I couldn't take their religions, so I made up my own. For me. And if your god still holds authority there, then I've made a serious mistake. However, even if that's true, and you're right, Then I'll march into Hell with my head held high in defiance of all the evil unholy s**t that the Christian god stands for.

Are you tired of God or his "Followers"?
God is more than any mere human can ever understand. Just because one faith tells you that they believe in the one true God, does not mean that they understand him. There was only one man who understood him and we nailed him up on a board! As long as you remain faithful to God himself in your search, you will reside in ever lasting bliss of the afterlife.
So I say, may the God of all things bless your search.

This is just a rehash of Pascal's Wager. There is no proof that hell exists, so why should I worry about it? Even if there is a god, what makes you sure that it is the christian one.?
Why do you believe heaven and hell are the only two choices? If I was god, I would be angry that some believed in me only to go to heaven?

It also states that there is a place in heaven for the peace makers.

Um i believe you are talking about a chapter in Revelation
god says when the apocalypse happens that he will be taking all the people from 14 tribes(tribes that followed and believed in him back in biblical times)
and put a seal on them which means they are saved then he will take people from earth and
if their name is written in the book of life he will put a seal on them also

if god is real its just as likely that he doesn't agree with Christians and is all right with atheists as vice versa.... you're quite wrong... If god is a supreme being then human logic may or may not ever agree with what he believes....
