<center>Alright, so I was thinking about it in a Guild when I heard they might be making a Housing System(I still have yet to confirm this in any way, but the person who said it has never lied before, so I kinda trust them), and figured, hey! Might as well start a debate about certain issues regarding Houses and Battles... Well, basically, I made a few comments about Battles and Monsters... Mainly I ranted about Houses, and how they would be good, or bad... XD
Houses:
This all seems good and well, but its the way they do the houseing system... Will you be able to sell your house for a better one? Or just upgrade?
This would be a major subject for me, as I'd like the house system to be like in real life, buy and sell...
And if so, would it come WITH appliances? Or would that even be relavent?
I'd like to be able to walk around my house with a coffee cup, in a robe. I think it would be hilarious to watch my Av turn on the oven, or open a fridge or freezer. XD Thats just me.
And would you be able to have other Av's visit your house, and, like, sit on your couch? XD And spend the night?
And pets! What about cats, dogs, fish, or lizards? And snakes, too! Or at least we should be able to choose/capture monsters... Because your Av represents you on Gaia, so if you have a real-life pet pet or two, you might want one or two on Gaia too. Right?
And having a doorbell go off when your house has a visitor would be amusing, though its unlikely.
(The pose I have her in right now would be 'me with a knife after chopping food' XD)
Or will it be, as you said, too remeniscant of Neopets... People only able to see your house, but not actually have the Av's in. ><
And building it one room or garden at a time... x.x Thats so slow and uber-expensive, honestly... Its the slow part, though, that annoys me. 100 NP and 7 hours to build a garden? I don't think so... stressed sweatdrop
Although, the housing system on Gaia should do to have gardens. I'd love to have a cyber-garden for my little Riyo and Candice to sit in... It would be wonderful, really, depending, also, how they do that...
If you get to choose the plants(real plants) that go in your garden, and whether you grow vegetable and fruits, or flowers - or both - and you get to grow them from seed... Then it will be great. If its more like Neopets, and the plants are all odd, and you don't get to do them from seed then... No. Just no.
As well, you should be able to furnish your house yourself, but the prices of furniture should be by brand-name... Heh...
And the furniture should be a little realistic... Nothing like on Neopets, where they have dung furniture... XD Thats just retarded.
But, one feature I liked from the Neopets housing, was that you could choose where you were living, and had an address of number and street name. I'd like to see that here on Gaia as well. Because it would be pretty cool.
Battle:
Would it be real-time? Well, it would have to be, eh? So making that comment would be irrelavent.
Anyways; the monsters, you should be able to select and/or capture as pets, because that would actually be awesome. surprised
And the fact of carrying around weapons... I'd have Sai's, be they available(thats just me). But, seeing someone with a sword would be totally cool, 'specially since they could look ready for battle at a moments notice. XD
Really thats all I have to say on that matter...
