Welcome to Gaia! ::

If you want to argue with me about this some more- PM me. I have to go.

You need not. I know that. But I am saying this is a topic that has been argued over since (excuse me) the Bible age. And yet no one has made a decision or even leaned to one side of the argument. Obviously a lot of different religions have a lot of fact or good theory to prove theirs is real.

I think a lot of people have been swayed for the past 2000 years.

I fail to see why you think they haven't?

Anyway. Love is love- they love each other. Why can't they marry? Someone give me one valid reason why they shouldn't. Keep religion out of this.

Um... Zoreta, this thread is about the Christian religion and its reactions to homosexuality.

Its a little hard to keep religion out of a debate about how a religion should react to a sexuality.

I agree that no religion should play a role in secular marriage. But right now in this thread, we're addressing Christianity's false assumptions and corruptions of Scripture in relation to homosexuality.

As well as other things this religion is concerned with. ^_^
Being Homosexaul is not a sin. The act of it is a sin. That's all that is stated in the bible. Now can we kill the repeat threads.

I hope you realise two things.

First: This is not a repeat thread. Find another on this subject within the first 5 pages, and you will convince me to tear this one down.

Second: This is the ED. If you make a claim, especially one in opposition to the original post, back it up.

I'm assuming that, by your speech, you haven't read the first post. Do so.
This has been an repeat thread since 04. Get rid of them. Everyone knows Gaia's opinon about god and about homosexualty. There is literally nothing to discuss.

The act of homosexuality is a sin. Read the first post.

Edit: The nearest equivalent is a man shall not lie with another man on the first man's wife's bed. Or they shall be unclean.
This was purely hygienic and not concerning whatw as wrong or right.

Why don't you actually read the first posts, rather than just the title?

Concerning your opinion, its an opinion,

A person does not need to marry in order to show their love. The idea of marriage being the ultimate way of proclaimings one's love for their significant other is incredibly overrated. There are other ways besides saying, will you marry me to show you want to be with that person forever.
Marriage=overrated
Otherwise, there wouldn't be much divorce had your opinion been true.
Get YOUR "facts" straight, especially when they are merely opinions.
