Heyo Christians. This sunday I'll be going to a church for the actual service for the first time in oooooo around 7 or 8 years. I'm an oathbreaker. And I'm uncertain, but depending upon your definition of "blasphemy against the holy spirit" I've committed that too.

Jesus said that about people who claimed his miracles (specifically casting out demons) were done through the use of demonic powers. these days most people believe that either God was behind them or they didn't happen.

I've heard some define it more broadly as claiming or attributing any of God's miracles such as creation as done by another supernatural power or entity, which I've done. I never specifically said Jesus did something like raising the dead via the power of demons.

I believe this, and you have your right to believe other wise. But I believe that homosexuals, like myself, should have the same rights as a heterosexual married couple, but it shouldn't be called marriage.

That would be giving homosexuals special rights. People more than likely didn't want to call two people of two different races marrying, marriage either.

Although a skillful and thorough perversion of the scriptures, this argument is in fact a perversion, and nothing more. I am not here to argue the right of homosexuals to marry or to be together, because it does not suit the topic of this forum. The proper understanding and interpretation of the scriptures has become the greatest import.

The scriptures may be interpreted in a variety of different ways, as is the right of humans, having a living soul and thinking mind, to do. However, a scientific study of the bible as a text is just that, the scientific analysis of a text, and nothing more. If you wish to divulge the spiritual aspects of its pages, it is important that more than scientifically, you as well wield yourself spiritually, with good faith in your God, whether it be the God of heaven or of hell, or if you worship some other idol, object, sport, soul, friend, what have you. Without study in light of your faith, scriptural study is about as useful as disecting the text of a child's picturebook.

To conclude, no scientist can decide what any individual is supposed to believe or was meant to believe spiritually.

As an informal post sentance, in respect to the original intended topic of the forum, homosexuality does not damn a human being, but their own sinful nature. If you are worried about your ultimate destination, first seek salvation, then afterwards learn exactly how you should live your life in Christ.

I'd say that's still at most blasphemy against God.

Oh, ok. It's just that different people tell me different things, so it's hard for me to tell who to believe. But I'm still technically an oathbreaker, so I dunno. These days, if I need to enter a church for something (like yesterday, I was helping with a screening of "Anyone and Everyone, highly recommended for those of y'all who are Christian and struggling with how to accept a child, spouse, or other person who is lgbt) I pray to YHVH to ask his forgiveness for the transgression of His space.
