What if everybody goes to a different heaven? What I mean is... Well, I'm not good at explaining things. So, say heaven is in another universe. It's one world. But what if, there are countless universes, each containing a heaven for a different person. They think they see the ones they love, but it's not truly their loved ones, as they are in a different heaven. It's merely a copy of their loved one.
But a lot of people want to TRULY be with their loved ones. Would God lie to them for their happiness?

You're assuming a person can't exist in more than one place.

Whoa... Trippy idea. You mean like that guy in the X-Men who can duplicate himself? (I think his superhero name is Multiple Man)

No, I'm not. That's what I've been TOLD by Christians. They say they retain themselves and their consciousness as it is today. That means they can't have multiple selves in multiple realms. And to make a "perfect" family member would require changing fundamental parts of their personality, which also conflicts with the claim that we remain intact.

Perhaps. But would they care if they don't know? Unless in heaven, we're all asleep in pods or something and we dream forever, we dream of heaven. So the heaven we would know is just an illusion, a fantasy...

Yeah, I think about these kinds of things... When it takes a few hours to get to sleep, you end up thinking of weird things...
So God lies?

Yeah, I'm not exactly known for understanding these things... Could the concept of heaven be one of those things that the human mind just can't comprehend, like the idea that the universe was always here? I'm not saying it was, but I'm using it as a comparison. We try to look for what created the universe, but I sometimes wonder if it's possible that the universe was always here and humans just can't comprehend that.

It doesn't mean that at all. Use some imagination, think outside the small box you shape your universe as.

So a lot of us know that Hell doesn't make sense. But why don't many question Heaven? I think it makes even less sense. See, when you die, as a Christian, if you were a Good person you go to Heaven, with everyone else who was Good. You all gather there, to pretty much do exactly what you did here on Earth: live. They call it the "afterlife," you go about your everlasting day in a perfect world.

See, Heaven does not take place on a planet. It takes place in a magic universe where whatever you want is yours. Also, everyone exists in Heaven together. But what if someone wanted to be alone? Would that mean everyone else would cease to exists? When the desires of two people in Heaven conflict with each other, what happens? There would be no compromise, as Heaven grants your every last desire.

You are no longer bound by physical laws, but you take the form of a body anyway, but a perfect one. You can eat all the food you want, or choose not to. But no one explains if you can be kicked out of Heaven. With your perfect body, you might want to have sex, with about 13 women, with your 13 dicks... Would that be your ticket to Hell from the afterlife?

If everyone in Heaven gets what they want, there is no way they can all live in harmony. And there is no doubt in my mind that people, even Good Christians, will have sinful desires. Heaven doesn't say "no" to anything, so would you simply not be part of the Kool Kidz Klub anymore, and be banished an eternity of suffering? God DAMN you for having sinful desires.

It makes me think that eventually everyone would make it to Hell. An eternity gives you plenty of time to sin. So what's the point of Heaven anyway? It's completely conditional.

Well, then people say that once you reach Heaven, you'll be enlightened and no longer have any sinful desires. But out the other side of their mouth they'll tell me they'll be the "same person." They're trying to imply that they've never had sinful desires, but then they ALSO say that sin is human nature, because of what Adam and Eve did. The contradictions are astounding.

In short, a lot of EDers know that Chrstianity doesn't make any ******** sense. But I know there are Christian debaters (dare I say oxymoron?).

So.

WTFUXUPW/ Heaven?

Don't ******** tell me what small box you think I'm in. I understand the concept. It does not, however, work with how people describe their "contained" consciousness.
