Gather round, children.

So a lot of us know that Hell doesn't make sense. But why don't many question Heaven? I think it makes even less sense. See, when you die, as a Christian, if you were a Good person you go to Heaven, with everyone else who was Good. You all gather there, to pretty much do exactly what you did here on Earth: live. They call it the "afterlife," you go about your everlasting day in a perfect world.

See, Heaven does not take place on a planet. It takes place in a magic universe where whatever you want is yours. Also, everyone exists in Heaven together. But what if someone wanted to be alone? Would that mean everyone else would cease to exists? When the desires of two people in Heaven conflict with each other, what happens? There would be no compromise, as Heaven grants your every last desire.

You are no longer bound by physical laws, but you take the form of a body anyway, but a perfect one. You can eat all the food you want, or choose not to. But no one explains if you can be kicked out of Heaven. With your perfect body, you might want to have sex, with about 13 women, with your 13 dicks... Would that be your ticket to Hell from the afterlife?

If everyone in Heaven gets what they want, there is no way they can all live in harmony. And there is no doubt in my mind that people, even Good Christians, will have sinful desires. Heaven doesn't say "no" to anything, so would you simply not be part of the Kool Kidz Klub anymore, and be banished an eternity of suffering? God DAMN you for having sinful desires.

It makes me think that eventually everyone would make it to Hell. An eternity gives you plenty of time to sin. So what's the point of Heaven anyway? It's completely conditional.

Well, then people say that once you reach Heaven, you'll be enlightened and no longer have any sinful desires. But out the other side of their mouth they'll tell me they'll be the "same person." They're trying to imply that they've never had sinful desires, but then they ALSO say that sin is human nature, because of what Adam and Eve did. The contradictions are astounding.

In short, a lot of EDers know that Chrstianity doesn't make any ******** sense. But I know there are Christian debaters (dare I say oxymoron?).

So.

WTFUXUPW/ Heaven?

Heaven's a lie told to children so often, that start thinking it's true.

8 days to BCT....
Yes, that is evident.
But I want someone to try to rationalize Heaven. Lulz.

Why do people expect to use logic on topics beyond human comprehension?

/thread.

Because there are people who believe they comprehend it.

Which means nothing. They believe what they are capable of knowing. When you only know part of the pie, it's silly to assume it all tastes in flavours.

Of course Heaven is real. It's full name is chocolate.

It means everything to a philisophical discussion, and also the religious discussion. I'm sure that some Christians believe and can "cite" explanations to what may be "misconceptions" in the OP. By your logic, no one should ever discuss religion or the origins of the universe.

Agreed. If it's good chocolate.

Not at all. Just things beyond comprehension, such as the motives of the divine, and fun stuff like that.

How is this not a religious discussion? How is this about the "motives" of the divine, legitimately?
I am asking simply about what the Bible/Christians have to say about it.

A little gamblin' is fun when you're with me

Well, I can't really speak much on either since I've never read nor am Xian, but from what I've learned in my course on the Abrahamic faiths, it's essentially Eden.

Toys are most beautiful, right before they break!
@OP: You know Heaven/New Jerusalem is in fact, supposed to be created on earth, and that hell will also be on earth, not in it?

Many don't question heaven because even though it's not something they can actually objectify they can understand it with one word, perfection or heroine.

Your HOUSE doesn't make sense. And your OP shows the biggest lack of knowledge of the Judeo-Christian belief system since ever.

~Then why did I find some morning wood, my shirt rather wet, and a fresh breeze ?
